2 pounds doesn't seem like a lot

Thursday, September 18, 2008

I know that 2 pounds doesn't seem like a lot of weight to lose, but I did it. I have to say it's not easy but I seen the scale move and I hope it continues to move down. This is what I want to see. I know getting on the treadmill isn't great fun but when I have no time it's the easiest thing to get done right before I pick up my kids from school I jump on the tread mill for 15-20 minutes and I am also doing wall push ups which I didn't think would be hard but I can feel the burn. I know that's a good thing. emoticon

Time and Money

Wednesday, September 10, 2008

Wow how do I find enough time in my day for my self? Its seems if there is always something to clean or a sport event to go to for my girls and can't find enough time for me. I also can't afford to by the healthy food for my family is there any implements I can use instead. I would appreciate all the help I can get. Just so you know there are soccer nights volleyball nights and dance nights I know this only lasts for 2 months but there has to be a way to find some time. emoticon

As far as time goes... I know some have found it helpful to get up 15-30 min. before the rest of their family in the morning and get their workouts in then! If not, you're right.. in 2 months.. i will calm down. In the meantime... clean with extra vigor, do jumping jacks or something while you're waiting, park far away, think of every single second you can add extra movement to your day.

Some healthy food is expensive, but I have found my ways around it. Ground turkey is one of my favorites. I'll also buy a thing of natural peanut butter that goes pretty far. If you can, get your fruits and veggies from produce/farmers/flea markets or pick your type farm places. Or look for whats in season in the grocery store. Check the sale flyer. You can do this! Let your hurdles motivate you even more.. don't let anything stop you! emoticon
