Harass me please.

Sunday, October 18, 2009

During the summer I only had to work 3 days a week and since my sons had camp at the YMCA- it made it very convenient to hit the gym, but since they have been back at School and my work hours have increased due to the holidays, I have been really slacking off at the gym. My eating has stayed in control but I miss the endorphins- I will have to make a new routine. I'm off the next 2 days and Monday my baby has preschool so that is an easy day to go. Tuesday also off but no preschool- I'll have to go after I drop the other boys off at school at 8:00. Wednesday again preschool and I don't work until 3 so easy again. Thursday and friday are my tough days, I work both days from 1-9pm. I will have to go in the morning both days then work all day which will make for a really long day..

I'm asking my spark-friends to hold me accountable about going to the gym 5 days this week. If I know you'll ask me I am less likely to skip, SO BASICALLY HARASS ME. I give you permission. I need that kick in my rear this week. I am really close to hitting the 60lb. mark and would like to see it by Saturday.

Way to go on the nearly 60 lbs gone/eliminated...I wish I could just "lose" them like I misplace my keys LOL.

OK, I think I read that Monday was an easy day to go work out...did you? (and if you make your nutrition and exercise trackers public, we won't have to ask, and can congratulate you on the ___ exercise you did).

I think there's a message board on your class team, with exercise minute for today and the plan for tomorrow...see you over there!

Gosh you're doing great! See, I'm doing great with my exercise, not so well with my diet. You know what? Instead of thinking of those days that you'll have to go in early to exercise as "long" days, think of them as "better" days. You'll get that early rush of endorphins to help carry you through! You can do it!

Keep on trying! One day at a time is all it takes. I hit the gym over lunch 3-4 days a week. Is that an option for you? It helps break up the long day and actually gives me energy for the afternoon!

Thanks for the post on my blog by the way. Just keep in mind if you want to skip workouts that I'm inching up behind you!

I know the feeling my middle son is Autistic and some days you really need the release and the endorphins.

I think you have beaten yourself up enough without us saying anything. You feel at odds with yourself, so it is a good sign.
It is a trying time with kids, but they won't stay babies forever and like I found out there is then no excuses..
I now hit the gym feel good in my skin and life is peachy. When my two ADHD'ers are annoying feeling good about myself keeps me on top of them and them not running the house in the weekends...

Friday, October 16, 2009

I could not find a shirt that I really liked to wear to the premier, so I made my own on zazzle. It's now for sale there and you can order it too if you like it. It has 11-20-2009 on the back too. I'll be rocking it at the premier.

for a bigger pic check my photo section.

You can search under my name julesana8818 in the search block on zazzle thats the easiest way to find it.

My husbands T-Shirts.

Thursday, October 15, 2009

Last night it was freezing in my house(having less fat makes you less warm)so the tank tops usually sleep in weren't cutting it so I put on one of my husbands tshirts. Now my hubby is a weight lifter so he's huge!!!!! his t-shirts used to fit me now they are like a dress on me. I'll need some warmer PJS.

That's great but I agree some flannel sleep pants would help a lot. I also find that wearing slippers around the house is great (feet stay warmer and if my feet are warmer I am too).

Congrats on the weight loss!

I may be a dork.

Wednesday, October 14, 2009

I would like to think of myself as a pretty cool person, but lately i have noticed some things about me that may be evidence to the contrary. For instance at the gym, when a really good song comes on my MP3, I mouth the words. This used to bother me but now I'm like who cares- at least I'm not singing out loud. (plus there is one guy who plays the air guitar during his workout on the elliptical. Always makes me smile. ) Also I love to dance around my kitchen to 90's boy bands, trust me this is not pretty, I have no rhythm. Makes me happy. There are many more examples of my dorkdum but these will do for today. Are you a dork too?

I use my iPod when I run and I used to mouth the words, but stop whenever a car passed (small town, everybody knows everybody else's business). Just this year I decided I SO don't care if they see me singing along. It was very freeing. Also, I don't have any neighbors within a half mile so I sing out loud, quite loudly, when I'm working in the garden. Now if you poll my kids they'll have at least 20 more examples of how I'm a dork!

I am "Super Dork" LOL. I actually sing out loud listening to my MP3 player while mowing the lawn, I'm sure my neighbours think I'm killing some poor animal (I can't sing). I like to dance around the kitchen listening to old "Do Woop" bands from the 50's and right now I've put some Beatles on there too there stuff from the beginning of their career is very easy to dance too and I also have no rhythm (yet I love to play Dance Dance Revolution on my Wii).

The dude playing the air guitar while working on the elliptical would make me smile too.

Oh my gosh, I love it! I want to hear more examples! I'm definitely a dork....perfect example, got tired of singing the ABC's to my son so I turned it into a rap song...and a dance! HA!

Sorry, but life is too short not to have a good time -- so I guess I'm a dork as well. And yes, I sing to my tunes...and these are instrumentals, so the words are those I've made up.

Lovin' it! I was beginning to think I was a loner in Dorkville. I often feel the need to break out in song to keep me going, or get a laugh. It breaks up the tension and lets everyone relax a little. Both of my girls can sing along with me to "I will Survive". They have a great future in karaoke.

Oh, I'm a total dork here. Yesterday I was working out on the elliptical to Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" and "What a Feeling" from Flashdance. I had the volume really high on my Ipod and was hoping that the ambient gym noise would prevent anyone from hearing my headphones. I have a fantastic playlist of equally dorky power songs that I work out to.

Lol at the dude playing air guitar. That's awesome!

I am a total dork according to my teenagers. I bop my head on the elliptical so much that several of my coworkers laugh everytime they come in. Once in awhile I'll bust out singing just to spur them on some more. They think I'm a crackup. Yesterday I sang the chorus to Pink's I'm coming out so you better get the party started.

I dance in front of my daughter's friends and she gets embarrassed. I have some backstreet boys on my playlist.

What fun is life if you can't be a dork sometimes? I try not to take my life too seriously and just have fun once in a while.

Have a dorky evening!

I asked my husband what I am but to keep it family friendly, I won't post that.:)

This is a great idea. I so often focus on what I'm not. I will have to make my own list now and put it someplace visable. When I have those days of feeling low and not worth anything I can focus on what I am. I am a good person and I am worth the work I'm doing to make myself beautiful both inside and out. Thank you, you have made my day brighter.
