Forgiving myself, and moving forward.

Tuesday, September 06, 2011

I let myself down, I went back to eating in an unhealthy way, I quit moving, gave up and hid. But now, It is time to forgive myself and move on. I have decided that in order to accomplish the healthy goals I have set for myself I have to start looking at the 70 lbs. I lost and then regained in the most positive way I can. Losing that weight taught me that I can lose weight and be a healthy person, and it helped me connect with some wonderful people who have remained a support system though everything, that in itself is priceless. So I am sorry for letting myself down, for being weak and giving up, but I forgive myself and walk toward better things.

What I hate about being overweight ( to remind myself why I won't eat that Lasagna:)

Monday, September 05, 2011

This is day 2 of getting back on track, for reals this time peeps;) And While I still feel somewhat crappy, because I haven't been eating healthy long enough to start feeling good yet, SO to help out the future me that is PMSing or whatever and thinking about going for that entire box of doughnuts, I am going to list all the things that suck about being overweight. Here:

1. being so feckin tired all the time, seriously I need a nap to recover from my nap.

2. Having heartburn all the time, even when I haven't eaten anything, Tums anyone?????

3. None of my smexy underwear fit, and I am down to just Hanes her way, which I have to admit is NOT my way.

4. my periods are just wack and not on a schedule, if you're a chic, you know what an annoyance this is, if you're a dude, sorry.

5. peeing when I sneeze- I know it is eeww but I'm keepin it real peeps.

6. Having a hared time shaving my legs, because I take up way too much tub space.

7. being depressed and not having the energy to fix it.

8. feeling frumpy in everything I wear. yes, I am back in my fat jeans that I only kept to remind myself to never be this fat again, this time I'm burning those *itches.

9. being so hot all the time, this is not "good sweating" .

I am sure there are more but these are the main ones. I am going to try to blog every step of this journey,so I can "see" myself getting healthier day by day. Being fat sucks, so I don't think I'm going to be fat anymore.

the weekend

Monday, July 25, 2011

Well I had a very busy week end, still managed to skip all the fast food and drink a whole lot of water, however I really feel that I could have planned better ahead as on Saturday I skipped breakfast. Also had sweet tea at the Restaurant on Sunday, could have saved the calories and just had regular tea and added splenda. Maintained weight over the week end so I still need to lose 3 lbs. by the 31st. Totally doable. Here's to a new week!!!!!

Good job still blogging. Little choices each day add up so take 10 minutes the night before and think about the day ahead. I find this little investment of time can totally change the direction I take and help me stay on a good path!

Last night I took my blender (single serving size) and filled it with coffee, almond milk, PB2 powder, and chocolate protein powder and left that in the fridge. This morning all I had to do was throw in a frozen banana and mix. Breakfast in less than 30 seconds. Truly less than a 10 minute investment in time. Try that sometime with your favorite shake.

1265 calories for the day ( goal between 1200-1550) so in range.

Girl...we need to introduce you to freggies! And hashbrowns don't count. emoticon

Your goal tomorrow is 2 fruits and 1 veggie. I love life cereal btw. Good job staying in range and for moving the entire time. I know that burned off some calories!

You are doing great blogging, tracking, and trying. That's all it takes to get that scale moving in the right direction. CB - major yuck factor for me - never been fond of that one, and gross out when my kids eat it. something about the smell does me in and I can't eat it.

emoticon emoticon You are doing great! Edward would be proud :)
