Week one day one.

So this year I am trying something a little bit different goal wise. I have set weekly, monthly and yearly goals to achieve. I have made a chart - I love charts:)

these weekly gaols will stay the same for every week this month, I know they are kinda low for January, but I really need to get back to basics and be consistent, I will adjust them for next month and so on.

This weeks goals are:

1. Eat breakfast everyday.

2. take my vitamin everyday.

3. 30 minutes of cardio 3xs per week

4. drink 6 cups of water everyday ( I have really been slacking on the waterfront)

5. weigh in everyday ( not for everyone, but it helps me stay accountable)

6. log in to sparkpeople everyday ( 1 down 6 to go:) - I need to break my longest streak ever of
13 days.

7. blog at least 4 days per week. ( 1 down 3 to go.)

8. Scrapbook at least one layout per week ( we just got in twilight paperpacks at Jo-Ann's- my twilight scrapbooks are really behind - the new paper is awsome------)

9. Follow the flylady plan at least 3 days this week( cleaning house not my strong suit, her plan is fun and helps clutterers like me.)

10. Log food at least 3 days this week.


Monthly goals for January

1. lose 6 lbs.

2. log in everyday to spark this month.

3. adopt one spark newbie.

4. get that 500 sparkpoints trophy this month. ( last time was April 2010).

5. hit 360 fitness minutes this month ( last month I did 30???? what's up with that????)

Yearly goals:

1. lose the remaining 72 lbs. I need to lose 100 total.

2. be a more positive person.

    Now I'm going to have to go and look for this twilight paper. My oldest and I just watched Eclipse again today. It sounds like you are right on track with your goals. I love how you broke them down. I think I may have to try that. Oh and it's ok to make newbies as long as you teach them to follow the rules. Maybe the Volturi won't notice. emoticon

2010- year in review -

2010- what can I say, you were not kind to me.

number of books read = 23 ( at least)

promotions at work = 1

new hobby acquired= 1 (jewelry making)

weight = + 41 (that sucks so badly)

fitness minutes = 2995

this was a year of procrastinations and lack of dedication. Tommorrow is a new month, a new year and a new start.

    You have to look at the positives sometimes to overshadow the negatives. So you gained, but your still here that means you haven't given up. That is great! We both need to pick it up this year and get that scale moving. This is just going to have to be the Year of the Dork. So let's get our dork on and rock this year!
BTW-I'm loving the new hobby. I'm always up for a new hobby.

    Honesty is the best policy. Glad you're focused on a new year. I'm going out this afternoon and buying a pair of jeans in the size i want to wear to Breaking Dawn and I'm hanging those suckers on my bathroom mirror.

When are you starting our countdown?! :)

Well today was snow day for the kids and and an off day for me. really making an effort today to drink more H2O, because lately I'm not getting anywhere near enough. I am really working toward getting back into onederland this week, I detest being over 200 lbs. Putting up the Christmas tree and organizing my scrapbooking area, keeping those hands out of the cookie jar. Roads are to snow-covered to go to the gym so I will try to sneak in a mini workout at home.

not ravenously hungry today sop far hope to keep ity that way with healthy snacks and enough water.

My week in review.

Well this was a decent week, I logged on to spark people 6 out of 7 days this week. I sayed within my calorie range this week5 of 7 days. I dropped 6 lbs. this week so due to my monthly visitor arriving early. And I blogged 5 out of 7 days. I faced down many temptations and overcame them this week.

My plan for this week is as follows.

1. Log in to sparkpeople everyday this week.

2. stay in my calorie everyday this week.

3. blog everyday this week.

4. drink more water this week.

5. workout at least 3 days this week.

6. try to enourage a new sparkmember everyday this week.

Hubby's Birthday

Today was full of landmines. I had lunch out with the in-laws at at an Italian restaurant, ordered NO PASTA. only had half my sandwich and made them hold the fries and had side salad instead. Then for his birthday my hubby requested homemade stuffed shells. I only ate 2 and no bread, then bypassed the cake altogether( didn't even lick the beaters). Today I feel strong, I even kept the MIL from having cake she is competing with me to see who can lose 15 lbs. first.

On a happy note- my BIL who I have not seen since I was at my heaviest complimented me several times about my weight loss at lunch and he has recently lost 45 lbs himself. Really proud of him and me too.
