Finders Keepers !!!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday, July 10, 2012

My brother introduced me to this awesome store called Finders Keepers & it is a keeper!!!!
I bought so many clothes the two times I have been there. The clothes I bought are name brand all the original price tags on the clothes. The highest I paid $ 24.00 & the lowest I paid was $ 6.99. Land End work out shoes was the highest, the names I bought in tops & slacks are Calvin Klein,Lands End, Jones New York Signature, The Quacker Factory,Rafaella, I will not spend top dollar when I am working to get down in size. so this is a great place to shop. The shop keeper does have slightly worn clothes , besides all the knew ones, but she is very particular what she takes into her shop. The great thing about this it is 30 minutes from my home!!!!

I love it! When we go on vacation, I visit my favorite Goodwill in that town. I swear that there is a woman who is just my size and shape -- she must also be losing weight because the clothes are in great condition, and no woman would get rid of clothes that nice unless she were getting rid of her "fat" clothes! I hope that she's still losing weight -- I want her cast offs! LOL. I bought 3 pairs of jeans, a cute Liz Claiborne jeans jacket, and black court slacks for about $25 there last spring. What a deal. Returning there next week to take a look!

Have a great week!

it is almost over!!!!!

Saturday, July 07, 2012

Where did it go but oh what I have accomplished & did not even want to stop!!!!! Wow what happened to me!! Okay I took a mini vacation from work 5 days I have until this Sunday, polished all my oak furniture with Old English. This is different from regular dusting. My kitchen table is oak with lion claw feet & the intricate work of the carving of a lion, & the chairs are all intricate scroll detailed carving. When I cleaned it with the oil I had to use Q tips in between every single carving. Oh how beautiful when all finished. That was an entire day project . Then I power washed the entire house down However I made the mistake of washing all the windows first, so of course they were all spotted & had to redo the windows over . I only had 16 windows to redo over. The next job was using the old English on the rest of the entire furniture in the home. The other job was going over all the books in my library & putting those away to sell or give away. You can only read the same book once or twice. Then time to pass it on so someone else can enjoy them. My husband had built me a most beautiful oak 7 feet book case that opens up behind a place where I store my iron & ironing board, & for me to stand in. The next job tomorrow is too wash the entire car inside & out.plus repot some plants for the indoors. I even had time to go shopping for an hour for myself, came home with I pair of cropped pants 1 skirt 1 dress & 7 tops. I NEVER stay home on any time off except this time is different Due to a job change for my husband I have 4 weeks vacation & he only has 1 week. So I actually feel good with what I have accomplished & will get done tomorrow. Every time I was in a room I made sure I did some sort of exercise also. So when I go back to work Monday I will have a sense of well done!!!

Accomplishmnt's that even surprised me!!!

Sunday, July 01, 2012

I power washed the entire house today ,it felt so refreshing with the water cascading down on me with the ninety some degree humid weather. Then washed all the windows that I did lately ,because I did not think of the water spots that would be left. oh well more exercise in that. Then I polished kitchen cabinets with old English oil, hung out 3 loads of laundry.then I did 4 test in order to keep my pharmacy licenses up. Must take 21 credits & one in Pharmacy law every 2 years. The very first year I received my license I was audited from the state. I had to send in proof I took the 21 credits.I keep them on back up just in case. Mine are due to be sent in July 28th so I will get that all together this coming week. I feel I accomplished quite a bit today. I even had a chance to sit a bit & read a few chapters in my book on the porch swing sipping ice cold water!!! Hope every one had a good Sunday Take care

Coming up the basement steps guess what I did????

Saturday, June 30, 2012

Half way up the steps I thought gee what could I use these steps for beside going up them. I stopped & did my push ups. I put my legs down on several steps leaned forward & did 3 sets of 21 push ups !!!!! If you do not have a basement use the staircase steps we do not because we have a ranch home all one floor.
