Times Gone By

I can't believe where the time is going! It has been a busy week. Last weekend, we spent some time in the trailer up at the lake. The weather was lousy! Cold, windy and cloudy! It seems I've been on the run all week! Had my Spanish class on Tuesday and I figured out how to get my keyboard to Spanish so I could get my homework done! I accepted an office in our district Women's group. Not sure I should have but I did!
We are getting ready for our vacation in a couple of weeks, which I am really looking forward to!

What, oh what is happening with my Sparks? Since we had to change our e-mail server, I have not been able to get notifications for new members. I have reset the settings several times. And then all of a sudden, I was not getting ANY e-mails from sparks. Discovered that somehow, the box for Do Not e-mail was checked. Unchecked it but am still not getting any of the daily e-mails--the ones you get points for--are no longer coming. Again I have reset and reset email preferences! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

We had a great weekend at the lake. Our son and grandsons came. We really enjoyed them!

Judy, That has happen to me many times. This week, I didn't get any emails for a few days. I went back and unchecked everything and clicked do not send any emails and saved it. Then I went back and checked everything and saved it. Today I've received The Best and Food Showdown so far. Sometimes, I just have to do it over and over. I think it's a Spark tech problem. Maybe someone with magical powers to restore your emails will read your plea and help out. You can only hope! Think of it this way -- better not to receive emails for Spark stuff than not to get your online bank statements, which happened to me. I'm lucky I didn't miss a payment! Hope you get it sorted out. Sounds like Irene is coming to the East Coast. To all you sparkers in that area, stay safe and know I'm keeping all of you in my prayers.

Good news here--The Missouri River is finally below flood stage! (We've been above since the first week in June)
