Water Aerobics & a Better State of Mind

Well, I have been lacks for sometime now and I gained 12 lbs back. I am not going to let it get me down. I started my water aerobics back and exercising my legs in the water. I am feeling better about myself and getting out of the house four times a week is really helping my state of mind. I really don't get to talk to many people when I go because the time I go is not when very people go to the pool. I have guide books that I follow for the water aerobics and so far I have not got anyone else to join me. I hope someday I will get someone to join me.

My legs got so weak from staying in the house so much that now I have problems going up and down stairs. I have a little trouble getting up out of a low chair too. I can tell a little change already since I started back. I have hope that I will gain back strength in my legs again.

I didn't get way off on my eating plan while I was not exercising. I am watching more closely now. i have to keep moving a lot in order not to gain. I do believe that 80 % of losing weight is the food plan and amount of food you eat. So I must of got off more than I thought I was getting off. Oh well, back to tracking and recording what I eat. This really helps me. So back to it.

Water Aerobics

Well the "Self Guided" water aerobics is going great. I still can't say I love it, but I am doing it. I have never liked to exercise. When I exercised for a full year without a break I still didn't like it. I did it because I did feel better and didn't hurt as much if I continued exercised. I know this is negative but it is the truth about me.
Oh, well I am doing it now and feeling a little better. I know it will take some time for me to start feeling better. I went through this before. I am so proud of all of you that just loves to exercise. I sure wish I was one of them.

I am not getting any emails form Spraks people and I have tried to set the email here in order to get the emails. I used to get them and now I am not getting anything. Dose anyone have suggestion to what I can do to start the emails back?

    Glad you are back Judy. I do know it is hard but the exercise will help with the pain. I like my exercises, but I can't do what I love right now because I have what they call frozen shoulder. Now I have to do exercises that I hate because they cause so much pain, but I will do them because I have to right now so that I can get back to riding my bike. So I do know how you feel.

    Great job getting back into water aerobics. I appreciate that you are honest about how you feel about exercise. I don't love to exercise consistently either, but I do like the results. And that's what it's all about, right? So keep up the good work!

I just started doing some water aerobics myself, I have a bad left hip and have to be careful with it. I do this at home and found some great videos on youtube.

    Glad you're in water aerobics. I went this summer for 2 months at YMCA but had to give it up due to cost. I don't like to exercise either but will start again once my tooth ache is not hurting, I ate something that tugged on a crown and it hurt the tooth. I plan on doing the exercise bike and walking DVD emoticon

    I am not very good at exercise. Everyone tells me to find something I enjoy doing, its harder to do the say. I love the water, being outside in the lake. Maybe I will try some water arobics. You say you are doind self gulided, where did you find routines to do yourself?
I adjust my email preferences by going to: My Trackers, My Sparkponits, Read Sparkpeople emails... then to left click on Sign up for emails in red, this will take you to your email preferences. Be sure to scroll to the bottem of page and save your settings. I'm not sure if this is the easiest route to get there, but its the way I know.

Four weeks of being Lazy with the Water Aerobics

Well, I started feeling the results of my being lazy with the water aerobics. My WHOLE body started to hurt, AGAIN. Today I made it to the pool and did the water aerobics that I have setup for my self to do. I follow a 60 minutes workout laid out in an illustrated aqua technique Guide. I have three different workout guides using water aerobics .I am doing a different workout every time. So far I am the only one doing it, but then where I go and the time that I go, there are not too many people there.
Today was really nice to get back into the water, but I am feeling it in my body this evening. I hope to go again tomorrow. I am able to go four time per week at a certain time only. If I miss my time slot then I am out of luck. It is better than not being able to use the pool at all.

I have been lazy with my food plan and the exercising for about 4 weeks. I know that I gain some weight back 6 to 10 lbs. That's really fast for 4 weeks. Today is a new day and I started tracking my food again and excising again. I have to think about what I have went through to lose 86 lbs . That is from my heaviest weight. I feel so much better when I eat correctly and exercise. WHY, do I treat my self so bad by not doing the correct things to keep me healthy??
Well the heck with why!!! I am going to be a GOOD parent to my self and take care of me.

I will STOP making up excuses
I will STOP saying I will do it tomorrow
I will STOP believing it will happen by it self


I will
Begin working out today
Begin eating healthy today
Begin my life change NOW

Do it TODAY and be proud tomorrow

Cake in the Face Valentine's Day (Really in the Floor)

Well, I was doing so great today. I wanted to show my hubby that (Sugar Free) would taste great. So I made him a sugar free heart shapped cake with all the special decorations. I even use unsweeten applesdauce in it instead of oil. The calories were very low compared to regular chocolate cake.
The cake turned out just right it tasted and looked beautiful. I was so proud of myself. I showed him and he really loved it. I was so proud. Then I had to get the ideal that I would take a picture of him holding it.Ii wanted to let the kids see how good the sugar free cake looked.
So proud of it !!! I guess I was just too proud, because when I was carrying it to the dinning room for him to pose with, I dumped the cake face down on the carpet.






Well, that is what I get for all that pride. I gently picked up the cake and the top layer of the frosting was on the carpet. So cake was pretty clean. We are going to still eat it. It doesn't look so great, but tastes great.







Hubby is still the proud owner of the cake. ( LOL)

    It sounds yummy. I have a banana bread recipe that I exchange the oil for applesauce and the buttermilk for 0 fat greek yogurt. It comes out wonderful. I love learning how to take the foods I like and exchange the ingredients and they are still wonderful.

    Love the story and think it is really sweet to make a REALLY SWEET but healthier cake to celebrate today. Hope it was fun even if it was sorta - flat on its face so to speak. LOL
