When you've eaten too much and you can't write it down,
And you feel like the biggest failure in town.
When you want to give up just because you gave in,
and forget all about being healthy and thin.
So What! You went over your points a bit,
It's your next move that counts...So don't you quit!
It's a moment of truth, it's an attitude change.
It's learning the skills to get back in your range.
It's telling yourself, "You've done great up till now.
You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow."
It's part of your journey toward reaching your goal.
You're still gonna make it, just stay in control.
To stumble and fall is not a disgrace,
If you summon the will to get back in the race.
But, often the struggler's, when loosing their grip,
Just throw in the towel and continue to slip.
And learn too late when the damage is done,

Lifestyle change can be awkward and slow,

My 1st 5am work out went pretty good. I use to think you people were crazy getting that early just to work out, that could never be me now way no how!!!
So it started of a little slow I was sluggish and barley moving but there was a little hint of excitement I must admit I havenít set foot in a gym in about 2 years. So this about what my vision was as I stepped in the door
NOT ACTUALLY MY GYM LOL)
Okay what have I gotten myself into I'm use to the great out doors, fresh air, dirt and gravel underneath my feet and I love every minute of it!!! So one perk of my joblessness last year the best work out schedule I use to spend 2 to 3 hours just getting lost in the trails
ACTUALLY MY HOOD) What a beautiful sight it was a joy to come here everyday just looking at the pictures brings back so many memories AHHHH SERENITY NOW OKAY BACK 2 REALITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
KIDS, WORK, COOKING, CLEANING, LAUNDRY, PRACTICE(DANCE,BASKET BALL, FOOTBALL, TRACK) RECITALS, GAMES, MEETS, ECT,ECT, ECT. THE LIST GOES I'm sure all you parents know what I'm talking about its a never ending job.
At this point its like life is busy so what so is the next persons. I had to look at my schedule and carve out a little me time, I knew it was there all along but did I really want to drag outta bed at 4:30 am and hit the gym um HELL!!NO I thought those early morning people were cRaZy.....but now I see its dedication and you guys kick a#@
So do I have the dedication to keep this up
1st thing I do when I get in the gym is say point me to the scale, what they pointed me to had to be a joke, this cant be the only scale in this gym and of course it is
What I saw when I stepped on it blew me away
OKAY NOW THIS IS A JOKE!!But oh well suck it up and move on!!!!(still not 100% sure this is correct I had no idea what I was doing) but I move on regardless.
So I put in some work and got my work out on
Feeling great and off to work 2 hours later this is what I walk into at work
The most EVIL thing ever CADBERRY EGG's my boss has left for me WHAT A BI#*@ no really she is sweet and she loves me...And again I move on and did not eat the whole box like I usually would. I had another battle to win with a little packet of oatmeal, which I border line hate give or take. I was determined to eat it and like it
So a few grapes and some cinnamon later success I'm well on my way to
Subway for lunch , no mayo, vinegar, oil, salt, and it was still tasty and I saved the other half for the next day. I chugged down 8 plus servings of water and I am now well into my 4th day of eating great and downing tons of water
Making life changes is not easy and putting it into action is even harder but it is possible. its still early in my adventure but once I found that I take away all the excuses it makes it alot more easy.
So what I get of work at 6 and I cant work out cause I have so much to do, just get my lazy butt up and hit the gym in the AM
So what I have to go to bed at 10pm and miss some of my fav shows so I can get enough rest in to get up at 4:30 to work out
So what if I cant hit the trails like I use to I still have the weekend 2 days outta 7 aint bad
So what I cant eat a whole box of Cadberry Eggs REALLY WHO DOSE THAT ANYWAY!!!!
What it all boils down to is this is my life and I control what happens it and no one else.
Its all about making changes and little tweaks that works for you I'm finding mine and what works for me. So I'm moving on and moving forward tackling challenges come!!!
