My Motivation Jump Start!

I just read a blog showing a picture history for 2BFREE2LIVE.
Motivation, I like that and I am going to borrow that motivation.

Motivation is the key to success.

M-Make short term goals
O-Out with the negative thoughts
T-Think of why you want this
I-Imagine how you will feel
V-Visualize how you will look
A-Acknowledge your successes
T-Treat yourself with respect
I-Investigate new ways to get fit
O-Observe your healthy lifestyle
N-Never give up

I am not giving up.

Backsliding -

Well as another year comes to an end, I am still trying to get my motivation. I don't get much sleep generally speaking and I don't eat right. I would almost have to say I need someone to grab me by the shirt front and shake me!!! I want to loose weight, but I am sooooo tired.
I was looking at the Fitness Mag site and found a link for "100 Motivational Quotes" I am going to paste the link so that others may see it and maybe find something of value. I am going to go thru them to see if something will jump out at me. PLEASE!!!

  Take some time to consider what you want from 2011. Write out some thoughts on that and then compile a list of measurable goals for the year. It sounds like it would be good to start with some small things that you could definitely succeed in, then after success, build some more challenging goals. Have you thought of making a calendar to record your successes? I am glad you're doing a motivational chart too. I definitely need to do these things today. I've been mulling over all of it for the past month and now the new year is upon us! God bless your efforts! You CAN do this!! And, the journey is so sweet and rewarding! Hugs, Ritarose

    Lynn is right... don't be overwhelmed by the whole picture. Just taking one step...one day ..at a time is SUCCESS!! emoticon I know I did! You will be tired in the beginning....but that will pass in time...Be patient with your self - You are worth it all!!
I pray you will ask the Lord to give you a determined heart to do this...no turning back. ...knowing that each time you sweat it out to exercise...you are getting closer to your goal...the new YOU!......each time you eat a meal that is not laden with fat/calories, you will be stepping closer to your goal!! ...and pretty soon, you will be craving this Fit life, and the meals will begin to actually taste GOOD! LOL!!

    Ok I will go home get some sleep and then after I walk my dogs I will do a 10 min routine from Coach Nicole! I will let you know tomorrow how I do. The kitchen will have to wait until the weekend.

    I pray that you make a determined decision today to change. Faith without works is dead, therefore you must take action to succeed. Look around your kitchen and begin throwing out any food that has entrapped you. Begin moving your body; ten minutes is better than none.

You only need to step out. Once you do your hope will return.

9/21/10 - I am exercising in the mornings, I am taking it slow. I am doing turbo jam, the beginner workout. It is a 16 min workout w/kicks and punches and raisedheartrate! I am working hard! Tomorrow since I will be off to cook for bible study, I will do Hip hop Abs - 30 minutes! WOW!! I am tired just thinking about it. :) There is one bad thing w/this workout, I don't know how many calories I will burn. So let's see what I look like come my birthday, January 12th. The clock is ticking and I will keep checking in to let who ever may be interested know how I am doing. Yes I will be accountable.

    I am also working on a goal for my birthday, which is October 13!!! Yikes, but one thing I know for sure, make it or not, I am further along that what I was. How about you??? You can do this for YOU, YOU are worth it!!!

Starting Over

Hi there, I am starting over and will make this count. I need to get back into shape and loose this weight. I have to do this. Short and sweet - I am going to start w/just 10 minutes a day working out. I walk my dogs every morning but I am going to do a "real" routine for myself every morning that come back in the house. Pray for me to work this out this time and make it stick! If God is for me... I can do it .

Back Pain Slowing me Down

I am experiencing a great deal of back pain lately. I believe it is because I don't work out the way I used to. I only walk every morning. I need to get back in the game. I am going to try to get myself back into my work out routine. I know what my problem is. I am in the process of being restructured out of my current position. I have applied for so many jobs but not getting anything from them. I am praying that relief will come soon. I have to trust God to get me through this. emoticon

  Just checking out the latest blogs before work. I can so identify with your back pain putting you on the side lines. I feel the same way. Now granted...I've never been one to exercise. I do thankfully walk every day. But still...I want to start a more vigorous work out. I'm thinking of trying yoga. Maybe the stretching will help. It's worth a try. Hope you get to feeling better. Stay positive....no matter what. mary
