I know you don't like being called that but I am being formal, so get over it. I hope you are well and have enjoyed your life thus far. I hope you have gotten over all the problems that I am having now and you are doing well.
Well let's talk about this fitness thing that I am totally into now. I am looking into becoming a personal trainer. I want you to have fun in the later years. I want you to keep it going strong!! You are a superstar!! Once I get the money together life is going to be GRAND!!
Remember when I joined SparkPeople I was sort of wishy-washy and it took a while to see clearly but now I do and wow!! I used to think walking the pups was enough then I was working out at work and was pretty regular at it and there was noticeable changes. I got laid off and had a 2 year pity party. You know size 18 was bad enough but size 22 there are no words for that!!
It was early last year that the "SPARK" ignited and the rockets started firing!! It was funny how I started w/the 10 min in the morning, and then did 20 min. I got that jazzercise - Burlesque and had so much fun. It then was not enough, I started doing the FULL 45 min routine and OH BABY!! I was shaking my butt and loving it!!
I remembered that I had started using the BB Slim in 6 and started that again and it was so much fun and I wanted more so I went to Hip Hop Abs!!
How are you doing w/your eating? Are you taking it slow and not pigging out? Small portions and veggies are always a good thing. I am still working w/a learning curve call, me the slow kid. I don't like certain foods and have you developed a pallet for that stuff?
I've learned a few things and I hope you have not forgotten them. Mornings are the best.
I have learned that I am not a quitter and so watch out world!! I know I have problems learning to eat properly but I don't pig out like I used to. I go easy on the greasy!! I drink my water and for me that is a good thing.
Well Judi, ( I know you like that name better) I really hope you are pleased w/all the hard work I am going thru now. I hate cooking but will on occasion and I hope you are cooking more now. Oh yeah and I hope you are still making the kahlua cakes for your friends. It is fun to drink at work under the guise of a cake.
Take it easy and Remember what el Capitan would say, "Rev It High, Rev it Low, I am STRONG, COMMITTED, and ready to GO!!"

Good Morning Boys and Girls, I am going to tell you about a natural remedy or two that I have learned from my mom, and other people that have been in my life. I first want to throw out the disclaimer that even though this may work for me and my husband (since I force it on him) that it may not work for you.
"Yellow Mustard - 2 tablespoons"
Ok you are saying at this point, "Well?...." Ok I will tell you since you seem so curious. Muscle cramps be gone!!! That's right!! I take that mustard and those nasty cramps I get in my legs and feet dissolve into nothingness!! I experience bliss and my husband can go back to sleep w/out me punching him, because when those cramps hit, so do I!!!
I actually keep mustard by my bed since I tend to get those nasty cramps at night or should I say in the wee hours of the morning!!
"Vinegar and hot as you can stand water w/salt"
Oh yeah baby!! This is a nasty combo but it works!! Stop saying "Well?..." I am getting to that!
I get congestion in my chest from allergies and colds and let's just say "ICK!!!"
I cough and that can loosen it, but not always. Well if I use that nasty little combo and gargle(toss the head back and gargle) then of course spit it out , that nasty stuff comes with it by the boat load!!! OKÖ ICK!!!! EWWWW!! GAG!!!!!
So believe it or not but this really works for me. It may not taste all that great, ok it tastes really yucky, but hey, if you get a cramp in your leg or foot in the middle of the night, it is nice to have something that will stop that pain.
And I have to sing sometimes at church and that nasty little vinegar mix, well that clears up stuff for me to sing!! Like I said it does work for me!

If there were no such thing as "weight", OMG!! Party time!! I would weigh over 200lbs and I would not notice that it takes FOREVER to loose a pound or for that matter care!! My weight would not be a part of ME!! Get thee behind me Satan!!! Hey we all know that scale is the devil's tool!!
Ok, just had to have a mini rant! :) My "return" journey for getting in shape had started rather small this year. I did the little 10 min exercise sessions, quickly bored and tried the longer ones, but they were not a real challenge to keep me interested, and found jazzercise, "Burlesque" and got my butt moving for real again, FINALLY!! I like to dance and that's what I do to loose weight. At least that is how it started again. I work out in my living room at 4:30 AM and have a blast. I was doing 20 min then I tried the full 45 min of that DVD and then decided to break out my beach body DVDs and wow!!!
IIIIIIIIIIII'm BACK!! I am doing these videos and adding in the little ab routines and keeping up. I could handle the full 45 of turbo jam cardio and also the sculpt. I noticed that I was getting so good, that there was not much in the way of resistance, so I had to switch up. I am doing the REVABS routine and OMG!! I am close to the end of the first phase which is 45 days and I am handling it. I had this set of DVDs and when I first looked at them back in 2009 when I purchased them, I thought I can't do that. Now I am ready (I think) for phase 2 - WOW WOW. There is only one problem that I have, my left foot is kind of messed up and I can't put pressure on my toes when doing a push up or plank, so I do a half modification, one knee(left) and one full leg (right) it works and I am getting so much stronger!! I can do 46 push ups (the last set is 16 reps) and I can hold the plank for a full minute. When I started I did around 20 tops and half a minute on the plank if that. I have upper body strength, AB strength, just strength PERIOD! I sweat and get the job done and want more!!!
I put on a skirt today that I could tuck my shirt in for the first time since I bought it back about 5 yrs ago. My blazers I get big (size 22 and 24) so the arms are long enuf and last year they were a bit tight around the middle, well not anymore. These things are HUGE!! I was going to wear a shell (short sleeved dress shirt for those that don't know) and it's a 2X, well I could not wear that since it was so big, it just looked BAD!! Made me really happy. I have so many clothes that just don't fit and I am in 7th heaven now. I also have some things that I couldn't wear from years past (I just couldn't get rid of them) and now I can. I have this black dress that is super clingy but there is still too much gut for that yet. I am getting there, the week of December 16th is when I start phase 2 of my REVABS program. I will make that gut go away!! I am a work in progress!!! I don't need no stinkin' SCALE to show my success or my failures! I have collar bones that can be seen!! I have chicken legs (that is my husband's comment) and I am getting fit!! There be muscle on this body!! And I ain't stopping!!
There is yet one more reason for my exercise routines. I am happier when I am exercising. I feel less stress and the release I get when I am straining to lift weights or hold the plank, it is an awesome feeling. When I am punching and kicking I am in 7th heaven! Exercise is the key to my happiness. I canít NOT exercise, I need this like I need food. I enjoy it when people say that I am disappearing!! The fat girl is about to no longer be ME!!
