I welcome the new month and the freshness of it. Things are going well at the gym and I am beginning to get into the strength training. I am most definitely stronger and I have awoken muscles I haven't heard from in years. All for the good. I should have done this much sooner.
I am enjoying the stationary bike there, both before and after I hit the weight machines. It is easier on the body than the elliptical or swimming, so it's a nice change of pace. And, I get to read while on it. I am seeing neighbors I only see in the summer months when I am out walking. Had chats with many of them. It is keeping me from feeling isolated this winter.
I plan to shed some weight again, whatever it takes. My house is stocked with fresh spinach, which seems to boost my weight loss. Fresh veggies, too. I had gotten away from stocking raw veggies. My 'fridge is now stocked up with them. I am prepared.
The snow has stopped till the second wave hits tonight. AND I am on call in the thick of it. We don't know yet if it will be snow, sleet, or rain.....could be very icy. I am not looking forward to that.
A short month this month.......so I'd best get losing immediately. Good luck to me! Woo-hoo!
