This was a great reminder that each day is a gift with beautiful things to look at.
Jonathan Roche from No Excuses sent it. Take a look at it often, because sometimes, we forget too easily.

Quotes from King and Roache, just to remember

Friday, June 29, 2012

“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk,
if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do
you have to keep moving forward.”
- Martin Luther King Jr.

Persistent beats Perfection!

Today I want to emphasize the
importance of moving forward, and how critical it is
to take your challenging moments, and look at them
as opportunity.

Think about the difficult situations life has thrown at
you, aren't those the situations that have made you into
the beautiful person you are today?

Those are the moments that have developed your
character and your strength. Rejoice in your challenges,
for it is in those moments you are learning who you
really are!

Persistence is far more important than perfection. So
take those moments, those difficulties, and use them
today to show the world that you truly can conquer

Be Happy, be True, be You!

I went over my FAT goal. Yikes. I never did that before. although I am trying the new PALEO diet whch doesn't counf fat or protein as a bad thing. They say CARBs are what makes you fat. So in that case. I'm still under in carbs, over in fat and finally met a goal(protein) is where is shouldbe. I've always be low in protein... always afraid of meat. but trying to add it in. It only adds more fat. Its' very confusing. My scale went down today, so may be that is a good thing? Just scared to add fat/protein... seems like they go hand in hand. Maybe if I ate that way along time ago and not always fearing fat, (meat) , I wouldn't be where I am today. who knows. My latest is eat meat, eat vegetables, and healthy fats--coconut oil and olive oil.

I had gestational diabetes while I was pregnant, so I was on a regimented carb diet... which inevitably meant I was over on my fat "goal" every day! I lost weight every single week (while pregnant!) that I followed that diet. I really should just go back to doing that, but I got used to eating carbs again... I do think they are the problem (for me anyway!)

I'm also cutting down on processed carbs and gluten while increasing my protein. It seems to be working. Probably every once in a while having higher, but healthy fats is not a problem so I wouldn't worry about going over if it's not often. Glad it's working for you! emoticon

That is my problem I'm afraid to eat all that fat so then I don't stick to the diet long enough to loose any weight.
