I am a big sweets lover. I have struggled with over eating sweets more than anything else. I have found, however, that I can still have my sweets and loose weight. The secret is moderation. I limit the amount that I can have to be within the allotted calories that I need to loose weight.
This past valentines I was tasked with making cookies for the grand daughter’s preschool. The recipe made more than was needed. Rather than keep the extra we took them to church on Sunday for our Bible study class. I limited the amount I could have and stayed within the calorie allowed.
In addition to the cookies, Valentines always offers the challenge of not over eating chocolate which is always around during that time. I have learned to limit what I can have. I love the freedom of eating healthy with the option of an occasional sweet. The best thing of all is that I lost weight that week.
