As bad as things have been here, we were told by Suzanne, that by the end of the month they are moving OUT. I said, well it is a shame it came down to the line being drawn because you don't buy food. She just looked at me.
JoAnn and I have had hard times before, and we will again, but things have been so smooth lately. The kids aren't coming home at night until it is bed time. As long as they pay the utilities this month, all will be well. Can't wait.
I have gained 10 lbs since vacation, I have been eating & not stopped. I Will get back on track tomorrow. I will talk to you all later. Love Joyce

Today, in the lovely rain, we all said good bye to my Aunt Mary. It was a lovely service, and it let me see relatives I haven't seen in up to 35 yrs. She was a true Christian woman. Loved by all.
Now we are waiting for Sandy. Keeping our fingers crossed, not to lose power. So to all of you out there who are in the same boat as us, I will hope that you fare well in this storm. For those who have already been hit, I am sorry for any problems you are having.
It is raining here, supposed to get really bad by midnight. The wind has picked up, I just don't want to lose power, it is cold outside.
One of the grandkids asked if Trick or Treat was going to be on. I said If we feel like standing in the cold and rain to give it out. Some place, somewhere changed it to Saturday. Not sure exactly where - Hopeville or something like that.
Anyways, I love you all and wish you well. God Bless. Joyce

My Aunt Mary passed away this past week. The family all live in Kansas City, and are bring of her here to WV to be buried with the rest of the family. I haven't see the kids or cousins or any of them for 20 years. But I was hoping to see them all in better circumstances.
Aunt Mary was a spry, small, petite woman. Was always there to help everyone she could. She will be sadly missed.
Mind you Sandy is due to hit, and they are flying in for a Sunday funeral home showing and Monday to bury her.
Please keep us in your prayers. lol

Got up this morning, did a 2 mile walk, then did the ususal housework.
Fairly smooth day, Suzanne and Sam went up to her son's home, and the kids all did pumpkin carving. Lasty year they did it here, and had a terrible mess. JoAnn was glad they were doing it somewhere else. Everyone knows she is tired of all the crap, and when she speaks out, they all get mad.
Believe me, these people do not clean up the way we do. If it had been done here, we would be picking up seeds all week. So it is over.
But, I am trying to get back into the swing of things. Between walkingh more and tracking everything, I am tired. Yes I walked when I was gone, but not like I was doing here, so I need to work at it.
But, for the whole, all is well. Take care, I love you all. Bye.

Got home, and I looked in the frig, nothing. I went to the big freezer to get ice, because she , JoAnn, was asleep, and I didn't want to make any noise getting ice. When she woke up I asked her where the chicken was that I had in the big freezer. She said Sam made chicken noodle soup. I asked her how it tastedl She said something was wrong with it. But if you are going to complain. I said, I was going to throw it away. It was over 9 months old, and when we had no power, it started to thaw. It had frost on it. I was going to throw it away.
She said, when you get paid at the first of the month, you make your statement, remember, if you are going to enforce this bit, of not eating your food, be prepared, NOT TO USE ANYTHING THEY BRING IN. I said and you don't think I can do this? I said you don't know me at all. Sam's son slept in my bed when he was here last week end. Suzanne took the sheets off my bed, but didn't lay the blanket back over my mattress and the pillows. I trashed the pillows, and spent an hour scribbing my mattress and pillows. The dog chewed on her feet, my mattress is not pure white anymore, and my pillows were covered with a blood splattered mess. I asked JoAnn if Luke cut himself. She said it was the dog. I am always so careful when I do the beds, so that Sassy can't get on the mattress and make a mess.
It would have been so easy to stay at the YWCA. I enjoyed my time there. Anyways, Lousy Day, after I got home. Just what I wanted to hear, and see. JoAnn is lucky that I have a sense of duty and won't leave her hanging. Love Joyce
