We went to family reunion. As soon as I saw my cousin Nancy I grabbed her arm and said, I need to ask you several questions. (1) How is your relationship with your sister. (2) How did everyone celebrate the holidays, since your mom died 2 years ago?
My Aunt Mary dies 2 years ago, and at the funeral, Nancy's husband shocked us all by giving a speech on care givers. My cousin, Nancy's sister, Marybeth worked as a teacher, and she couldn't help out with her mothers care. After ward when they piled into the limo to go to the grave site, Nancy's kids, grandkids, Uncle Jim and Nancy and hubby squeezed into the limo, Marybeth and her family had to drive their own vehicle.
Now time went by, and Nancy took her sister out for lunch on her birthday. Robbie, Nancy's husband walked in and said,"Isn't it time we buried the hatchet? to Marybeth saying Only in your head."
My concern is for their father. He is 88. This is hard on him.
Found out someone else died, my Aunt Jerry.
I was glad to get home, I cried half the time I was there. Everyone knew I was having a bad time. But good to see everyone.
