Lovely Day

Friday, March 14, 2014

It was so nice out today, and I was inside doing housework. I am hoping to get out and walk tomorrow, I will be attending Mass.

I help a friend of my sisters out. Her son bought his grandmothers house, and every once in a while with decent weather, we go over and work on different things. Now I am a smoker. Things got so bad, I started up again. Anyways, Jo Ann's friend gets very verbal with me about my smell. It got so bad one day after being gone for 7 hours that she called me a stinking bit h, and I said you are the bit h. Now I do not get paid for this job. I have put in several hundred hours. FREE.

Anyways she was telling my sister the other day that if she kept me out all day Saturday, took me to Mass, and we went to her sons and did a few things and waited until 11:30 p.m. and pick her up, that I should be able to quit smoking with 10 hours of not smoking. We have a boxer and she can not be alone and not get outside for that many hours. She is used to having me there.

Jo Ann said, you are lucky she wouldn't kill you. Jo Ann said she does this for free, doesn't complain. She is not your NIGLET. So she said what else ha s she got to do? Jo Ann said, in the summer, I hardly ever see Joyce because she walks to town to catch the bus, and she is gone all day and walks home, or hopefully someone sees her and gives her a lift. She will be gone. Her friend said well I don't know about that.

JoAnn asked me, are you taking that bed of her sons? I said no, I will be able by the end of the year to get one, and I already got the reference letters. I do not need her for anything. I got the letters and that is all I needed. I do not mind helping Kathy, she feels since she makes us a sandwich for lunch that is payment.

I do not smoke around people, in their cars, or homes. Jo told her friend that soon I will be in my own place, and I will then have a life of my own and be able to get out and will quit smoking and lose my weight then. She actually took up for me. Everyone at her job, laugh because they feel that this has gotten out of hand.

This woman thinks I NEED her and a bed to live my life. The only thing was it is a good bed, and her son and his friend would help me move, but I do not need them.

Talk to you all later. Love

The woman is obviously not your friend, and never had to break a strong habit. In your place I would take the bed, but you have to do what gives you satisfaction. I hope you get your own place soon.

Good for you for your sister standing up for you! Its wrong for someone to call you names, especially when you are helping them out. You seem to have a plan and goals!

Bobbi lost her dad on February 26th.

She and her husband Ron are sparkers. They moved out of their apartment of 16 years, to take care of her parents. Ron promised to take care of both Bobbi and her mom. This gave her father peace.

She sent me a letter today, and explained her problem, that since her computer was down, would I contact her friends. I contacted ALL of them.

You know I only have all of you. I was honored to have been asked.

Please keep Bobbi and family in your prayers.

Thank you. Love

We are supposed to have a bad storm system with lightning and rain tomorrow. Of course if anyone wanted to get in touch with me, my phone isn't ringing in.

Will have to have it checked. Of course I could call the phone company, and they could send me a free phone, but I can't afford a 35 dollar charge to get it on. Oh well.

Hope everyone has a great day. Love

I had to get a new phone a couple of months ago. It's really irritating when they don't work. Have a good day otherwise.

Did the storm take out the phone line? That is the company's problem and they should check it. I hope all goes well today. emoticon

Bad Day!

Saturday, February 15, 2014

I am so tired of all this cold, bad, snowy weather. I can't get out to walk. Anyways, I am going to be 65 on March 27th. I had to make arrangements for my Medicare.

I get SSI and SS. Welfare has given me my medical and medicinal coverage for 6 years. I was told, except for paying a small sum, as I have been that there would be no cost to me. Now I spoke to SS just 2 days ago, so I was inn shock when after telling me, because I am so low income that everything was taken care of, my SHOCK to learn I will be PAYING $104.90

Truthfully, I am surprised that I didn't walk the 2 1/2 miles to the nearest bar. Roads are a mess here, and no I do not really drink.

You'll need the Medicare Part B. One Dr. visit and a blood test will cost you a lot more than the cost of Medicare Part B.

The 104.90 is the Medicare part B (for outpatient and individual doctors) which is the cost for an individual (we pay two of those every month). The Medicare part A is free, but it pays for most of the cost of hospital stays. I don't know how you were covered before.

That premium may be for Medicare part B which is optional and covers outpatient procedures, tests, Drs visits, etc . Medicare part A has no premium and covers hospitalization. Try to find someone who understands the confusing landscape of govt programs to give you the correct info and help you find alternatives. As for the weather...all I can say is "hang in there" Spring arrives in approximately 35 days.

I am doing indoor exercises due to the face that it is -8 below here in West Virginia.

I got online early in case anything happened to the electricity, due to frigid conditions. Can you imagine soon, yes soon, spring will be here. I can hardly wait.

Have been getting a lot of Medicare papers. I will be 65 at the end of March (27th) I have for 8 years been on SSI. So I had Medicaid, now I am having to change things. Costly changes.

Waiting to hear from the powers that be. Love
