Day 71 - Sunday, December 4, 2011

Sunday, December 04, 2011

Today was another wonderful day. The meeting was excellent as usual and we managed to get 2 more hours out in service after the meeting. Even though it was raining steadily. (I am just glad it wasn't snow! lol)

It was definitely worth the effort. We might even get a bible study going. Here is to hoping that comes true.

When we got home dinner was ready, as my hubby had put on some stew this am before we went to the meeting. (YUM YUM YUM!)

Now we are going to have a relaxing evening and maybe play a little scrabble on pogo. I send love to everyone and hope your day was as nice as mine. Joyce

It was a nice day. Awesome meeting with a substitute talk. Our WT Study is so pointed about sports and other things.

Day 70 - Saturday, December 3, 2011

Saturday, December 03, 2011

Today was a wonderful day in Service. We were able to stay out for 4 hours and catch up on most of our calls. I even saw 2 of the girls I leave magazines with in Applebee's when we finally made it to lunch at 2:00.

We are getting ready to study now, and I hope to have enough energy to throw a little bit of a work out in.

This am was a rough start, I had to pray to get up. My left hip and shoulder kept me up all night again. (aching) But once I got moving, Jehovah's spirit stepped in and helped ALOT! Getting out of bed was the hardest part (lol).

I hope everyone is having a happy productive day, serving our happy productive God! Love Joyce

Doesn't it seem that the more effort we make to get out in the ministry, the more Jehovah blesses us? thanks for sharing your wonderful day! emoticon

Day 68 - Thursday, December 1, 2011

Thursday, December 01, 2011

Today I broke another 10 pound barrier! Yeah!

I weighed in at 278.5 which is a 8.3 pound loss for November. I am really glad I decided to only weigh in once a month. That is still about a two pound loss a week, but it looks so much better to see the monthly.

Now I am really motivated to do my morning workouts before I eat. I was feeling tired this am and then I saw my weight loss and I can't wait to do my workout. I can see the difference it will make for me.

So far, since September (when I started) I have lost 20.6 pounds.

I do hope everyone is reaching their goals and getting fit and healthy. I can see a light at the far end of the tunnel. I know I am still a long way off (long, long) but I can see that if I just keep doing what I have been doing, I can make it.

Love to all....Joyce

Oh Joyce, that is amazing! Your results are so encouraging. You've just given me the push to exercise. How long is your exercise routine? What do you do? Please send me a message when you have the time. Keep up the hard work; it is paying off!

Day 63 - Saturday, November 26, 2011

Saturday, November 26, 2011

Went to see my mom and dad yesterday and made dinner. I was able to go to the store for them too. I am glad I got to visit.

I also got to bring my granddaughters and son home to visit for the weekend. I am really enjoying my visit with them. We all got a project to work on from the Hobby Lobby and had fun working on them together.

Havent logged all my food, but trying to make sure to log in my fitness minutes and water drinking lol.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Love Joyce

Day 60 - November 23, 2011

Wednesday, November 23, 2011

Hi to all. I hope everyone is well.

I haven't been logging or blogging as well as I should lately. Just been really tired and stressed. But I have been working out at least once or twice a day. The weather affects me alot. Rain = pain (lol).

We helped my son finish moving out on Saturday and that evening I made the mistake of looking in his empty room and....(well, you know what happened). I was crying on and off for a few hours. Finally fell asleep around 3 or 4 am. I have been sleeping alot this week. But I always try to work out when I first get up, no matter what time it is.

I know kids gotta grow up. I hope now that my kids make spiritual advancement and decisions in harmony with Jehovah God's will. This is a tough world we live in and I worry. I have done the best I know how. Now it is up to them.

Well, love to everyone. Have a great day and don't forget to pray and thank our Heavenly Father for all the good he has done and will do for us. Joyce

I so well remember my eldest daughter moving across the city to serve where there was a greater need. She cried..I cried (after she left) and yet we were both glad to see her go. I wrote her a long letter that night and so wish I had kept a copy of it. Now, many yrs down the road, my daughter is serving Jehovah wholeheartedly...and I am SO proud of her. As Carol said, we must do our best as we raise them..and then leave them in Jehovah's hands. It has only been weeks since your son moved...now take over that vacant room and USE it. My sewing studio and computer and bookcases occupy one room...my guest room also houses my workout area (and helps winter over some of my plants.) Both rooms are repainted and redone. All four of my kids have their own homes now. emoticon

Leave him in Jehovah's hands that's all you can do. It's hard to have them leave home but they have to grow up and be responsible adults. Great on the exercising emoticon
