Hope the painting is going well. I always thought it would be great to be talented in that way. Seems like it would be so rewarding! (I don't have very good spacial reasoning.)

The balloon scene sounds beautiful, peaceful!

A World To Be

Wednesday, August 17, 2011

Just close your eyes and listen to me,
I'll tell you of a world that will soon be.
A world where laughter abounds,
Happy people, making joyful sounds.
No crying....,
No! Not even any dying.
A world where all the people love,
And Jehovah watches with pleasure from above.
No more broken hearts around,
A world that everywhere love can be found.
If on our God we patiently wait,
And not be distracted, or follow Satan's gait.
Jehovah our God will let us live there,
In the wonderful world that will soon be here.

Revelations 21:3,4 - With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Isaiah 33:24 - And no resident will say: “I am sick.” The people that are dwelling in [the land] will be those pardoned for their error.

Isaiah 35:5 - At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened, and the very ears of the deaf ones will be unstopped.

Matthew 5:5 - “Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth

Just wanted to share. Love Joyce

About Genesis Chapter One

Friday, May 27, 2011

In the beginning it was told,
How the heavens and earth Jehovah did mold.

From His own hand He made the light,
So we could have both day and night.

The expanse He made, dividing water from water,
Where the birds do fly and visit one another.

Dry land and seas, green grass and trees,
He also created all of these.

Fruits and vegetables bearing seed according to their kind,
It's enough to stagger the mind.

Also luminaries were made to cover the heavens we see,
Our sun, moon, and other stars go on endlessly.

Next water souls swarmed forth, and flying creatures got their birth,
To be fruitful, become many, and fill the earth.

Then came moving animals, domestic and wild,
From the very fierce, to the very mild.

Yet, still Jehovah was not done,
A great finally was to come.

He created His human progeny,
Yes Adam was the father of both you and me.

All this is written in a book we well know,
And many more things for our knowledge to grow.

Take advantage of this wonderful gift,
By doing so you'll get a spiritual lift.

And the things you will learn will never end,
If you make Jehovah your very best friend.

*I just finished this poem today...I have been working on it for years. It feels good to finally finish it. Love to all Joyce :)

Taught By Jehovah

Friday, May 27, 2011

You taught me love - how to imitate you,
The one who is so high above.

You taught me to be kind,
Instead of merciless and blind.

You give me wisdom I could never have known,
And discernment within me has greatly grown.

You've taught me to be peaceable with all men,
That my life can be successful - regardless of sin.

You've taught me how to forgive,
For it is the only way to live.

You taught me to share my things with others,
To be generous with my brothers.

You've taught me more than I could ever say,
So all I can do is Thank You and pray...

Continue to teach me all that I need,
As on your word daily I feed.
