I know when my routine gets interrupted, I have so much trouble getting back to it. This week has been tough for me for many reasons, and I lost my motivation quickly and my routine was gone. I need to get back on track! I have been sick but I have been feeling better! I had a small dental procedure done which resulted in swelling, bruising, and a tender jaw that really affected my eating. My jaw is sore but getting better and I hope to get back on my diet. Had a few other small things happen such as our camper at a campground was broken into this week. Well, enough venting - now I need to find my motivation again and get back on track.
Today is a new day! My goals for today 1) track my food today 2)get in 10,000 steps 3)Spend time with my son.

Starting on Friday, I developed a cold. I just want to feel better soon. When I am sick, I stop tracking my calories, etc... and it takes me a while to get back to where I was. I especially lose my motivation to workout, and this takes me a long time to built that momentum up again. The plan is give myself today to relax and jump back on my routine on Monday.

Well, I just cannot seem to catch up on my sleep. I have not gotten 8 hours of sleep since last week. I am averaging 61/2 to 7 hours. I really need 8 hours and I am really feeling the affect. Plus, I have been drinking more caffeine which I am trying to limit. I have not felt up to my usually evening workout. I have to say, that I have been walking over my lunch break everyday. I am proud I am at least getting that in for some exercise. I am going to try leave work early today, so I can get a jump start on my evening stuff including my workout. I am making a crockpot dinner, so it will be ready to go. I am going to do all I can do to be in bed by 9:30pm. It is all about planning ahead of time.

I am ready for today! I have to work 12 hours today, which is hard for me to manage everything with that many working hours with an hour commute each way. So, I tried to prepare a head of time. Last night, I got in a great workout, I got everything ready for my son to go to school (including his clothes, lunch, and homework all together), I prepared my lunch and lots of good snacks to get me through the day, I packed my sneakers to walk over my lunch, I spent time with my son playing t-ball and reading yesterday afternoon since I will not see him today. I am proud of my time managment skills last night and this morning. Off to a great start this week!
