Losing Momentum

11/4/08...I was doing so well and lost two pounds and now they are back! Yuck! And I've been working out in the mornings too. Well I'll keep at it and boost the intensity a few days a week. Maybe I'm more of a person that needs to workout at night. Don't know. I'm back teaching yoga one morning a week at my gym which I love and it will also give me a new perspective.

    Pounds shmounds, it's all in the perspective and yours is in the right place! I think the scales of the nation are rebelling or something. Mine isn't cooperating either, but my perspective is in the right place too. Have a great rest of the week!

Balancing Out

10/29/08...been a rough few weeks with lots of work and long days. Finally a quiet week and some time to focus on what needs to be done.

I'm finally feeling more balanced in my life. I'm back to teaching yoga on Saturdays which is fun and so rewarding. I can't wait to get started again this Saturday.

Things are turning around for my husband too in his line of work and I couldn't be happier for him because he's had a rough time getting through the not so good days.

Trying to do a few little things every night so I time for a few fun things on the weekend.

It truly is such a nice feeling and I appreciate it more now because of all those days that challenged me.

    Great news! If I lived closer to you, I'd love to learn some Yoga! I've never done it and I told myself I'd take a class this month, but it never materialized. My son took a class in High School and loved it. He said that it is a lot harder tahn it looks. Going to have to make that a November goal...take a yoga class! =)

Fueling My Body

10/21/08...Yesterday was a big break through when at lunch all I ordered was chili. Granted the platters of burgers, fries and Mexican food going pass our table was tempting---I resisted and I'm the better for it. My body needs fuel and I have to give it the best fuel I can for it to run properly.

Enjoying the Season

10/14/08...fall is in its full peak here. The colors are perfect, just like a post card. Hard to believe it will be over with in a week or so. It's like Mother Nature telling us to get ready for what season is next...just like in life. Enjoy every day because you never know what challenges or triumphs s the next day will bring.

What's the motivation?

10/7/08...what motivates? Such a simple question but it's also very complicated. In different situations, I'm motivated by different things. Right now here on SP, my motivation is to have my clothes fit better and to be able to walk into a store and reach for the smaller size. I'm also motivated by the number on the scale which I know isn't the best tool to use when trying to drop pounds. Such simple things in theory but why are they so difficult to put into practice?
