5/16/08...Things are getting green around here but still pretty chilly. I can't wait to plant my annuals just to see some color around here. I've been enjoying the extra daylight in the morning with a long walk with the dog. He's slowing down some but still loves his walks. I hope to report next week that my flowers are planted and spring is fully here.

5/6/08...I'm so happy for it to be May, finally. It was a long winter and I'm really appreciating the nice weather. Our ladies shopping spree never did occur on Saturday because a bunch of people had to cancel but that was fine with me. I'm still stuck at 146 which is good and bad. I feel good about my fitness and just need to improve a bit on my food. But I know I'm heading in the right direction which is important.

4/29/08...not sleeping well and it's starting to catch up with me. I'm going to try some OTC meds to see if they help. If not, I'll probably go see my doc for something. Trying to stay up beat about this...knowing it will pass.

4/22/08...looking at the number on the scale today it seems like I didn't have that good of a week after all. I did struggle a few days and splurged when I shouldn't have. Time to mix up my fitness routine and get moving more. I think I'm going to start jogging one day a week at the gym and look at the class schedule and add a class to my routine. I need to mix things up!

Half Way to Mini Goal

4/15/08...half way to my mini goal and I'm doing okay. This past week was tough getting motivated to do much because of TOM and a cold. I'm looking forward to this week because I know I'll be eating better and getting more movement in my schedule. Looking forward to next week's weigh in.
