Feeling Better

4/8/08...reset my goals two weeks ago and I'm down two pounds! I'm so happy that I want to keep it going until I lose another five pounds. The thing that's working for me is setting a goal and a reward for each week. This week my goal was to stay in my calorie range and I did so now my reward is a massage. I can't wait to book that massage today!

April Fool!

4/1/08...today is April Fool's Day...and Mother Nature sure has been handing out some tricks lately. March came in and out like a lion! I'm not sure what to expect for April.

I reset my goals last week and have been keeping a separate spreadsheet with my goals and rewards for the week. It's been a good motivator to keep me focused and on track.

3/25/08...if you see spring, send it our way. You'll know what spring looks/feels like when you see it...warm temperatures, rain, birds, green grass, sunny days. Mother nature played a cruel joke on us last Friday with 12 inches of snow. Thankfully our days are getting longer which is one sure sign that spring can't be too far away!

3/18/08...Easter is this Sunday and what a wonderful time of year to be thinking ahead to summer and all of those cute outfits. Going to ramp up my workouts this week and get a bit more fit before summer hits so I feel better and fit into my summer stuff.

  


Daylight and warmer temperatures

3/11/08...it's so nice to have some extra daylight in the evening. It's still a bit too cold to be outside doing anything but it's nice not to have to be all bundled up and wearing several layers of clothing to keep warm.

I'm looking forward to get out walking this week in the afternoon. Finally the snow and ice are melting so it's less of a hazard to walk.
