Better Today

11/6/07...yesterday I felt great then my husband said we had to do some refinancing and if things weren't going well financially in six months we'll have to make some "tough decisions" which means we'll probably have to move since we won't be able to afford our condo any longer.

I was so depressed after that but I went to the gym and worked out. I felt better but still didn't feel like my normal self. I was achy and just out of it...figured it was a cold coming on.

Well I'm feeling better today and got a pretty good night's rest. Going to stock up on some vitamins and get my immune system kicked up for the cold and flu season. Hope that's the ticket to feeling more like myself...I hate being so out of it.

10/30/07...not sure what's happening with me but I've been so down in the dumps and so stressed lately. It could be the change of the seasons and knowing that the holidays are right around the corner.

Too much to handle right now, so I'm focusing on myself and where I want to be in a year from now. My yoga practice is coming along nicely and I'm enjoying that. I find the personal training instructor program interesting but intense so I'm not quite sure about that but I do want to try for my certification in that this winter.

I hope these distractions help me get over these feelings!

10/23/07...seeing some results from the scale and how my clothes fit although I have a few more pounds to go before heading into the holiday season. I'm happy with my progress and have found that I don't need to pound myself at the gym every day to get the results I want. Still dealing with my stiff back some days are better than others so it's something that I have to deal with. Hoping to see another pound or two come off this week. I want to be 140 by Thanksgiving or before!

10/16/07...I was so motivated to have a great week and then I pulled a muscle in my back. Been trying to go without the meds whichi has helped and I even have gotten out for walks. Moving is the best thing for me right now. Sitting is the worse and of course at night it tightens up but at least I can get some sleep. Hope to be past this hurdle soon!


Up Two Pounds!

10/9/07....GRRRR! I'm up two pounds and I'm not sure why but whatever the case is I have to deal with it. I have a cold and haven't been myself the last few days which may have been my bodies way of needing a few extra pounds. Well I'll be hitting the gym tomorrow pretty hard so next week there will be a loss for sure.
