EPC 2 - Day 6

Today was another good day. I did however have to be very careful with eating and telling myself to track! track! track! everything I ate. (I am quick to pretend if I don't measure it or it's just a handful it doesn't count!) ;)

So here goes...

Nutrition: Stay in calorie range 26 out of 30 days. [ I chose this goal because now that it is Summer, I do not want to go off of my routine I have. I know I will probably be going out more often and I don't want to gain my weight back due to margaritas/happy hours. So I think this will keep me accountable and it is something I will stick to!]

Fitness: Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 Days 6 days a week (1 day for rest) [ I chose this goal because I wanted to try Ripped and have heard alot of good things about Jillian Michaels' DVDS. So it was perfect timing!]

Motivation: Read each day for atleast 30 minutes. [ I chose this goal because I simply need to read more and probably will spend less useless time on the computer! ]

UPDATE*

Nutrition: I stayed in range today 1534. And pretty good in fats, carbs, protein too!
Fitness: Did Day 6 of Week 1.
Motivation: What is it with me and SLACKING on my motivation goals?!?! grr.

** On a POSITIVE note: I got in RIPPED tonight, after 10 hrs of babysitting...bc I made this commitment & I'm sticking to it =)

** I am GRATEFUL for: the turkey burger I am going to make for dinner tomorrow after work, the gym and a run. =) Mmmmmm.

    Super happy with your positive note..man, that DVD is no joke! haha..I did it the other night.

Motivation is hard...but just participating in the EPC where you blog everyday creates motivation. Girl, you're on fire..you finished the first 30DEPC challenge and now you're on day 6 of your second..that's awesome! Make sure you give yourself credit for this, especially if you are thinking of it as something that you "just do" and don't deserve credit for. It's awesome you are doing this, remember that!!

You'll read more when you're ready, promise :)

EPC 2 - Day 5

Today was a pretty good day. I stayed on track with calories and did my JM Ripped. Yess!

These are my new goals for my new challenge...

Nutrition: Stay in calorie range 26 out of 30 days. [ I chose this goal because now that it is Summer, I do not want to go off of my routine I have. I know I will probably be going out more often and I don't want to gain my weight back due to margaritas/happy hours. So I think this will keep me accountable and it is something I will stick to!]

Fitness: Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 Days 6 days a week (1 day for rest) [ I chose this goal because I wanted to try Ripped and have heard alot of good things about Jillian Michaels' DVDS. So it was perfect timing!]

UPDATE*

Nutrition: Stayed in range, abour 1745. Yesss! Even though I went out for dinner at Chili's...I tracked using the nutrition they post on the internet but who knows how accurate that is!
Fitness: Did Day 5 of Week 1 and went for an almost 3 miles walk.
Motivation: No reading today but will catch up tomorrow!

** On a POSITIVE note: Got all my banking, exercise, errnads in before babysitting. WOOHOO for not procrastinating!
** I am GRATEFUL for: Having a relaxing job, spent today at the country club with little Addison. =)

EPC 2 - Day 4

Today was another good day. As I have said before now that it is summer and I am not in school anymore my schedule isn't as strict. Therefore, if I don't stay busy I could pretty much eat all day long. = No Bueno! So I am reflecting on myself each day of this challenge, which in return keeps me accountable for staying in my range/ exercising consistently.

Fitness: Did Day 4 of Week 1. Jillian totally pumps me up! (Not to mention I ran for 45 min AFTER that!)
Motivation: No reading today.


** On a POSITIVE note: I am super proud that I didn't pick like I like to do sometimes when I am home, then I end up eating empty calories that don't do anything for me. (ie marshmallows)
** I am GRATEFUL for: Putting a whole lot of stuff on my to do list and making sure I get it all done before 1 pm when I have to babysit.

EPC 2 - Day 3

Here goes...today I am pretty proud of myself (eating wise). I could of pushed myself to run but I got super tired so I took a nap instead today.

Nutrition: Stayed in range, around 1500 calories...YAY!

Fitness: Did day 3....and attempted to try 6 Week 6 Pack, but only got ten mins in.

Motivation: Read for a while this afternoon.


** On a POSITIVE note: I am super proud that I tracked everything I put in my mouth today! and didn't eat anything at the carnival :)
** I am GRATEFUL for: going to bed after I finish this blog!

UPDATE*

Nutrition: Today was a strange day for me. I didn't wake up until the early afternoon bc I got home so late! Screwed my whole day up! Yikes! I am glad I don't do that often. I ate very little all day (just because I wasn't hungry more so thirsty) and had sushi for dinner. It is soooo hard to track! So I did the best I could, not sure how accurate it will be. I got to the top of my range. So I guess I am in the clear?!
Fitness: Did day 2 today - I loved it!

Motivation: Read Cosmo magazine tonight. I need to get to the library to pick out some good summer reading material :)

** On a POSITIVE note: I got to returning some tank tops today and chose not to procrastinate any longer!

** I am GRATEFUL for: getting a normal night's sleep tonight.

- - - - On a side note, I am so nervous to gain this weight back, I need to get a scale asap and keep my PUSH GOAL of eating healthy and exercising often on my mind all day, every day. Goodnight SPARKIES! - - - -
