Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge, Day 22 Description: You're working hard at your goals and you're making amazing progress. I am so excited to read all of your comments each day.

Now guess what? I'm going to ask you to learn to ask for help!

You don't have to do this alone! All of your goals are possible if you let other join you on this journey! Take friends up on the support they offer and learn how to ask for help.

People can't guess what you need. You have to communicate and you'll be surprised at how happy others will be to help!

We thrive when other people are in our lives. We lean on each other in challenging times and we celebrate success together.

Let others contribute to your dream and reach out to help others. We learn so much from each other. We all have strengths and sometimes some fresh energy or someone with a different skill set can make all the difference.
Let go of the need to do it all yourself and welcome offers of assistance. Together we achieve much more than anyone will alone!

Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge, Day 22 Answer: This is true =) I am going to reach out more often when times are rough...I do appreciate reading peoples' blogs and pages.

One positive thing I did today: caught up with my friend from Cali...well now she is in Oregon, since 7th grade. It was nice =)

One thing thing I'm grateful for: All this positive talk/support. I think it is really making me a better person ;)

Well I only did the Hollywood Diet for a day, not even. I had to eat. I was getting weak and tired. So I had to stop. I decided before weigh ins today to split the $500 with the other teacher because we were both so distraught over winning/losing. So I knew either way I would end up going home today with $250. And it was better because things were getting awkward and uncomfortable at work. (Crazy what money will do!) So I weighed in today and come to find out...I WON! I lost .75 lb more! So hadn't I agreed to split the money, I would have won the $500. It is okay though. It was a gamble and I didn't want to take that chance. I am okay with knowing I won, but only getting half the money =)

How much did you end up losing for your biggest loser challenge? The hollywood diet would be SOOOOO hard! Not eating for two days?!??! I once did the Isagenix cleanse...IT WAS HARD! I did lose over 30 lbs and 35 inches in 30 days but as soon as I stopped it came right back to me!

Anyways, keep up the awesome work girl!!

Mini Challenge #11 Description: Do you ever try to measure yourself up to someone else's expectations and then fail? Do you ever catch yourself saying "if only I..." and finishing it off with something like "if only I were prettier" or "if only I were smarter" or "if only I lost weight"? Do you ever feel like you would be loved more if you had a specific quality or looked a certain way? Do you realize you are doing this while you are doing it? What do you think are the repercussions of this? What would be different if you got over this and felt comfortable with exactly who you are in this very moment? How would it change your life? What are you going to do to start accepting yourself more? What can you do to make sure you are aware that you are doing this as soon as your start so you can stop this destructive pattern?

Mini Challenge #11 Answer: I am guilty of this! I think we all are, especially if you are a female! We are never happy! I always thought my life would be sooo much better if I were thin. Like being skinny would make everything so much more...enjoyable? I don't know why I thought that because when I think about it, my life is pretty damn good =) I think I thought this way because maybe I would be more confident or have a higher self esteem if I were thin?! Although, no matter how much weight I lose, I always still see that 'fat girl' reflection in the mirror. I think I always will. I was overweight as a kid, and weight loss is still a constant struggle 25 years later. To start accepting myself more I need to think of the accomplishments I have made thus far and be proud of the changes I have made in my eating/exercising habits. I need to learn to become a more positive thinking person. So every time I wake up and look myself in the mirror I am going to say one positive thing about myself/body to start the day in the right direction.

Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge, Day 21 Description: The best way to master important information is to listen to it once, then go back and listen again and take notes.

Now that you've had some experiencing the things you've learned from the challenge, on a second run- though you're going to be able to absorb even more than you did the first time!

I want you to replay and reread the material. Repetition is a key to learning. You want to integrate this material into your life and by repeating what you've heard you'll notice nuances you missed before as well as reinforce that which you've already learned.

Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge, Day 21 Answer: So after the challenge, I will go back and reread my blogs and maybe even update them as I use the information in my daily routine.

*One positive thing I did today: came home after work and took a much needed nap

*One thing I am grateful for: wearing jeans tomorrow to work =)

Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge, Day 20 Description: You know that there's something that needs to change. It's lurking and you don't want to deal with it and when it occurs to you, you shut the door and look the other way.

But. You know what? When you face it, you're going to not only solve the problem… but you're going t have peace like you won't believe.

It is so much easier to manage things when you're facing them head on rather than trying to step around them and pretend that everything is okay.

There are always situations that we do our best to avoid. Is there a conversation you really need to have? Is it relationship that you're putting off dealing with? Do you have a bad habit you need to change? Come on… It's truth time. What is holding you back?

What's the one thing you hoped we wouldn't have to deal with in this challenge? There it is … that's what you need to work on! See how easy it was to find it?

Give yourself a break. We all have these things – but successful and happy people are honest with themselves, face their flaws and fears and work through them.

And guess what – you're the kind of person who has proven you're not afraid of a challenge and you're serious about achieving amazing results.

Be brave and go for it!

You're going to attack that one icky sticky uncomfortable thing and guess what? You're going to be okay. You’re not just going to be okay, you’re going to thrive! Look at it in the light and it isn't as scary as you fear. Worrying about it is a hundred times worse.

Make a plan of action and attack!

You can do this and you will be so glad you did!

Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge, Day 20 Answer: I would have to say procrastinating. I say I work better under pressure, but do I really? I am going to be more aware of this and try my best to deal with the situation right then and there instead of put it off or turn the other way. This will help me achieve my push goal as well as my 10 for the year ;)

One positive thing I did today: Had a fantastic SWEAT session at the gym ;) I felt soo good leaving (even though I had to change my shirt!)

One thing thing I'm grateful for: Will Power. I had amazing will power this weekend with not eating greasy pizza and all the goodies at a party today....I have weigh ins on the mind ;) --trust me I am not always such an angel when it comes to food!

Challenge #10 Description: What is something you can do that will motivate you to reach your goals after this challenge is through? You aren't going to be able to rely on the challenge to keep you accountable in 11 short days (well, technically you could keep blogging and stuff...but I'm talking about something more). What is something that will further push your goals and encourage you to remain accountable?

If your goal is with losing weight/being healthy, is there a dress you used to wear that you want to get back into? One of the ladies a coach hung a skirt on her bedroom closet door that she just can't wait to wear. Do you want to stop smoking cigarettes? Many people put the money they would spend for cigarettes in a jar and after a predetermined period of time they spend it on a reward. Do you want to start reading more? Make a game of it...set time limits on when to finish specific books and then reward yourself when you do finish. Do you have a workout program you want to complete? Reward yourself with another program after you finish that one (or new weights).

Challenge #10 Answer: To reach my goal after this challenge is over, I will continue to use the tools I need on Spark to track my food/exercise. It helps me to stay accountable for my decisions. It has become a habit for me to track everything and feel the NEED to do it everyday, sometimes after each meal. I will also make sure I incorporate exercise into my daily routine, even if it is parking far away and walking a little bit farther to get somewhere. I will allow myself a day of rest when my body tells me it needs it and will continue building up my time for running. I am pretty positive I can keep up this healthy lifestyle I chose to start living 6 months ago =)

Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge, Day 18 Description: We all have skills we need to learn. We want to become more fit. We want to be more organized. We want to be more patient, kind and loving. We want to be attentive to our kids. We want to have intimacy in our relationships. We want to be well… better!

You are here working hard because you want to be better.

I applaud that. But, the general skills that I listed above… they are really skills. They are not measurable and someone else can't look at them and tell you when you've achieved them.

This isn't going to be easy – but today, you're going to have to ask yourself if all of your goals are truly measurable and quantifiable goals or if they are really skills that can be learned. Don't despair. By achieving your goals, you're going to acquire the skills. We're after success – we're looking for excellence.

And so we're going to define our goals with clear markers so that we know when we get there. The skills will come too – because you're going to have to refine while closing in on your goals. But instead of focusing on the intangible, we're writing clear, definitive goals and guess what? We're achieving them!

Trust me. Today's challenge is an important one. It's going to keep you on task. Clear achievable goals are the path to success. And along that path, you'll master the skills. We're getting two or three steps closer to our goals every day!

1. List the day of the week you have set to re-set your 10 goals for the year.

2. List your PUSH goal and how it will enable many of your remaining goals.

Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge, Day 18 Answer:

1. Sunday - that has always been the day I chose to get ready for the upcoming week. I feel like I start fresh and get organized on that day.
2. My PUSH goal is to live a healthy lifestyle and exercise daily. This goal will enable my other goals because it gives me confidence, boosts my self esteem and allows me to have the energy that I need to accomplish other goals. So yes, this PUSH goal will help me to better my life in all aspects, not just health.

One positive thing I did today: bought a new tv stand so now I can finally set up my flat screen ;) *that I bought last Black Friday!!

One thing I am grateful for: being maternal. I took care of my niece today, who is not feeling well. I know I will make a great mom some day ;)

Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge, Day 18 Description: Present yourself to others, as you want to be and as you know you truly are.

Worrying about how you will be perceived is a waste of energy. Everyone else is so concerned about how they appear, they aren't even thinking about you! You have the opportunity to wow them with your personality and to comfort others with your confidence. This is where you can really shine.

You will feel more confident when you can rely on your character. When you know that you behave the same way even when no one is looking, you won't worry that you're going to fall back on bad habits.

Do your best to look the part. Check your posture, facial expression and body language. Not only will looking confident make others believe you are but you will believe it yourself!

Confidence is something you learn. If you weren't born with it, it's okay. Confidence is a skill, just like anything else. You can learn not only to appear confident, but also to genuinely feel the comfort of confidence. It's worth the investment in energy to develop confidence now.

Go back to your affirmations and nix any negative self-talk by replacing it with positive words of truth. Consider all the ways that you can be prepared to diminish anxiety.

What can you do to appear more confident?

Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge, Day 18 Answer: Since losing this weight, I have definitely reacquainted with confidence. It feels so good, I also can tell I a happier and show it. I feel more friendly and outgoing. It is great. Like Lauren, I would like to step out of my comfort zone and start doing this I thought I could never do. I have tried running, and I feel so great that I am able to do it! I always told myself I was too fat to be a runner, it wouldn't happen, and guess what it DID! I need to try other activities that I also thought being overweight would refrain me from doing.

*One positive thing I did today: pushed myself to keep going on the treadmill even though I wanted to stop and 'cool down'. I told myself ''just one more...''

*One thing I am grateful for: the fact that the gym is no longer over crowded due to the weather warming up and less people working out indoors. I love when I have it almost all to myself ;)

Great Job lady, you are kicking some serious butt! I'm not doing the Chalene challange, because I have been super slammed with school and work. I love reading about it on your guy's blogs, and I would love to jump on board, now that I'm done with school! Keep up the great work!! :) You're an inspiration!
