EPC 2 - Day 28/29/30 =FAIL

Sunday, July 24, 2011

Well, Thursday (day 28) was normal because I was on schedule but Friday (day 29) I exceeded calories and stopped trying to count (BLAH!) and I didnt do Ripped. Forget about the Motivation Goal! That is loooong gone. And yesterday (day 30) I went to the gym and ran did legs and had a great sweat it out workout!! Although, I missed Ripped, I still felt like I had accomplished something! Although, I did use yesterday as a cheat day. We had prepared all this delicious food and desserts for my best friend's 26th birthday so I felt compelled to eat them. WHYYYYYY??? I think I felt that way because I'm not subjected to that often so I felt I had to take advantage.??!! Stupid ! Stupid! Stupid! Cuz I was ridic full!! And uncomfortable! So today I am promising myself to get back on track and set my game up for next challenge! On that note, I need to go exercise some of this off!

EPC 2 - Day 27

Thursday, July 21, 2011

This blog is for yesterday (Wednesday, Day 27). I was good with exercise and my eating until I got home from babysitting. My bf and I rented a movie from Redbox and stopped at Subway for dinner, I got a 6 inch turkey on wheat (not bad.) But I did have about a serving of sour gummi life savers on the way there because they were in my bf's car. (ugh, if only he didn't have candy 24/7) and so after my dinner I had 2 s'mores(without the chocolate - 160 cals) so when I entered it, I exceeded my daily calories by 61. Ugh! I know it may seem like a minor mistake but I 1. don't wan to fall into that trap of allowing myself to go over (because let's face it thats how the weight crawls back on!) and 2. because that was part of my challenge (4 days out of the 30 to go over my daily calories, and I had used them all! ) Sooo booo to me!! Today I will be extra good though. I did exercise last night too. Hopefully that helped!

Nutrition: Went over my 61 calories! =( So that is 5 days exceeding 1700 calories.

Fitness: Week 4 Day 2 of Ripped. I am a little behind but it's ok cause I am going to make up those days even after the challenge in done. And I ran, at 9 pm, weird I know. About 2 miles, so that was an extra 200 calories burned!

Motivation: Failed, again.

POSITIVE: I went running, after a very playful day of babysitting, so that was good.

GRATEFUL: for Jillian Michaels, I can't wait to get another DVD of hers to start for the next challenge!

TTYL Sparkies! Have a good one. It is a humid day here in CT! Blahhhh (and these kids DONT have AC!)

EPC 2 - Day 26

Wednesday, July 20, 2011

Soooo....today I was waaayyy healthier until the night time hit. TOM is coming in like a week or so and I had a healthy dinner (grilled pork chops, cucumber salad and steamed broccoli lightly sauced) and surprisingly ate less or filled up faster....annndddd then around 730/800 it hit. I got this craving for brownie batter. Yup, not even just a brownie. If I were home, I probably wouldnt have gave in to this craving but since I was at my bf's he was down for me baking a batch of brownies. HAHA! (Talk about sabotaging...he usually isn't that bad!) I even put in so much effort to go to the store to BUY the ingredients! Ahhh! But I made them, tracked them and stayed in range. (I even licked the bowl HA) :P Anyways, it was weird. I don't usually get cravings and if I do I don't go all out like that so I'm not worried.

Anywho, here is my update for Tuesday...

Nutrition: Stayed within range...at the very top :/

Fitness: Was too tired when I got home so I will have to catch up on Ripped and maybe go for a run if it isn't sweltering hot when I get home.

Motivation: No reading. Booooo ME!

Positive: Did not procrastinate...got my oil changed, returned something...I usually put this stuff off as long as possible!

Grateful: going to Cape Cod for my birthday! I am sooo excited and it isn't for another 2 weeks!

Totally understand the cravings! Last week I won but yesterday I had a chocolate spread sandwich and itwas GOOD! sometimes we need a step off the path to make us more determined for the next few meals. The 80/20 principle in action!
best wishes, Sandra

EPC 2 - Day 25

Tuesday, July 19, 2011

I can't believe it 5 more days! Although, this challenge I was slightly less motivated....I don't it may just be because it is summer and my schedule is no longer structured with work..hmm. Yesterday (Day 25, Monday) was good.
Nutrition: Stayed in lower end of range...WOOHOO!

Fitness: Week 4 Day 1 of Ripped and also did a workout from week 2.

Motivation: Didn't read.

Positive: I worked out in the morning, got laundry done and ate a good (egg whites) breakfast!

Grateful for: Having flexibility in my schedule. Although sometimes it is more a dangerous thing for me....it is nice to not have to 'work' until noon.

Hope all you EPCers are doing well...I am already starting to think of what my new goals will be for August!

EPC 2 - Day 23 & 24

Sunday, July 17, 2011

Eh these days are rough! I really need to spend more time on SPARK bc I feel like I am losing it. Yet, I am still tracking but I find myself slacking with this challenge and that isn't good :( It has been two days off from Ripped although I did run today (Day 24) so I still make sure to get exercise in. My next step is investing in a scale. I need to see the number visually to make sure I am staying around 165. My theory is I am going to maintain this weight for the summer (cause it's hard for me to lose) and once I get back on track with school starting in Sept and on a schedule I will try to lose another 10-15 lbs. Then I will most likely be satisfied and comfortable with my weight. So enough about my laziness here is my update....

Day 23
Nutrition - stayed within range

Fitness - Day off (aka I was just lazy...)

Motivation - No Reading today!

Day 24
Nutrition - stayed within range

Fitness - went for a 4 mi run/walk....Mike and Chris kicked my a$$ I came in last :( but it was also about 90 degrees so there is my excuse...hoping on the Ripped wagon again, nice and early so I don't have an excuse!

Motivation - no reading today either

In the positive: Knowing when I feel like the motivation is lacking...I need to get back on the SPARK bc I don't wanna lose it!

Grateful for: the 4 hour nap I got to take today after running and swimming all day! =)

Goodnight Sparkies!
