Grab a Feather from Every Passing Goose!

Sunday, May 23, 2010

One of the e-mails I got this morning admonished to ob serve the passing parade, pluck a feather from every passing goose but do not slavishly follow any of them.

Too many people latch on to an idea or an ideal and blindly follow it, becoming blind to any information which is contrary to their pre-formed opinion. Pluck the ideas from those with whom you agree but also from those with differing viewpoints. While it might not convince you to change your opinion, it will temper your ideas and make them stronger. Know your enemy and he is yours.

Stand your ground and await success
