A New Day, A New Me!

Monday, March 29, 2010

Another day awaits us! Every day, we each have the chance to re-invent ourselves. In fact we not only have a chance, we have an obligation to do so! Today brings us opportunities that were not here yesterday and will not be here tomorrow so it is imperative that we take advantage of each and every opportunity as it presents itself for if we fail to do so it might be gone forever.

Open Your Present!

Sunday, March 28, 2010

Yesterday is but a memory and tomorrow is only a dream but today, well lived will make every yesterday a pleasant memory and every tomorrow a dream of glory. Today is a gift, that is why it's called the present.

A Break from Vacation

Saturday, March 27, 2010

This week I will be on break, working between two vacation weeks. Going on vacation is demeaning and thankless but someone has to do it so it might as well be
me. My father left me a week in Hilton Head Island, SC which I would be remiss if I didn't utilize. My father-in-law passed away last year and left us the use of his condominium in Florida. So that my wife won't say I liked my father better than hers, I am making the ultimate sacrifice and spending another week at the beach complete with tennis, golf, bocce, and reading. Life is a Beach!

Think of the sacrifices, SHE has already made for you.

Sacrificing your happiness for the happiness of the one you love, is by far, the truest type of love.

The sacrifices we make for our wives! I swear if it gets any worse you would have to set your self on fire. Have a nice break!

Vacation, Vacation, Vacation

Thursday, March 25, 2010

Starting another day at the beach. I am feeling self-righteous about my behavior this week. I have developed a method of having a lot to eat without eating a lot. I have been limiting my intake to chicken, shrimp and crab legs along with salads and appropriate vegetables. Eliminating fatty red meat and deserts sure leaves a lot of room for more shrimp and crab. Although I feel full, when I post my points at the end of the day I find I am below my allowable calories.

You can go on vacation and still have yummy foods and be below your calorie intake...if you want to meet your calories, try eating some fruit...I am leaving for vacation next week and hopw I do as well as you where food is concerned!!! emoticon emoticon
