I read an article about Tequila and the author said that a lot of people say they have had a bad experience with Tequila when what they mean is that they had an experience with bad Tequila.
The same is true for chocolate. Chocolate has beneficial anti-oxidant properties and is good for you when taken in moderation.
Number one: Eat good chocolate. bad chocolate tastes waxy and you keep eating more of it hoping it will taste better.
Number Two: Eat dark chocolate, at least 65% cocoa. This intensifies the anti-oxidant properties. Similarly, avoid milk chocolate which is loaded with sugar which is empty calories.
Number Three: Eat chocolate in moderation. Break or cut the chocolate into small pieces and savor each piece. You can chomp down on a Dove Promise and have it gone is about three seconds or you can merely let it melt in your mouth for several minutes of enjoyment.
Number Four: Pause. It takes a while for the message to get to our brain that our craving has been satisfied. Let the message get there and don't eat a pound of candy while you are waiting.
