My daughter-in-law swears I was a camel in a former lifetime. Whatever I am drinking, I drink a lot! During the times when I am behaving myself, I drink water, coffee, unsweetened tea and Crystal Light. When I become careless, somehow diet coke, coke zero, Budweiser Select and Budweiser find their way into my life. It's amazing how even Diet Sodas can make a difference in one's ability to lose weight. I track my fluid intake almost religiously and it is hovering around 20-24 cups per day. If I sat down and you were to put 1-1/2 gallons of water in front of me and said "drink it", I would reply "you're crazy" but that is the amount of fluid intake I have, spread over the 16 hours I am awake. At that rate, it's only about 12 oz per hour which doesn't sound like that much after all.
