For some reason, all three of the services from which I get inspirational sayings have failed to send me a missive this morning. I guess I am on my own to think of a pithy and poignant comment. It sure is a whole lot easier when it just pops up in your mailbox.
I will go back deep in the vault and share this one with you.
"What the mind of man can conceive and believe, he can achieve."
If you ask who said that, you get answers like Napoleon Hill, W. Clement Stone, Norman Vincent Peale, Dale Carnegie, the high school basketball coach etc. In fact all of these men have uttered these words but they were all quoting Marcus Aurelius who first said them in 4 BC (I think the proper politically correct term is 4 BCE but I don't really care) There is very little new under the sun.
What is, is. What will be will be. What was was but will be again. ARnold Horshak
