I'm with you on that one, JMM! We've lived in the same house for 37 years, but we've renovated a few times. Packing and exiting parts of the house for reno's is bad enough for me, I'd hate to pack up and move *everything*!
Be strong : )

Believe!

Friday, January 11, 2013

To believe in the things you can see and touch is no belief at all - but to believe in the unseen is a triumph and a blessing.

Aim High!

Thursday, January 10, 2013

Most people fail in life not because they aim too high and miss, but because they aim too low and hit.

Been a long time since I've heard anything about Les Brown. Loved his episodes on PBS.

So true. We underestimate what we can do. We sell ourselves short. I have been very guilty of this. But no more I choose to dream and achieve.

Abandoned!

Wednesday, January 09, 2013

For some reason, all three of the services from which I get inspirational sayings have failed to send me a missive this morning. I guess I am on my own to think of a pithy and poignant comment. It sure is a whole lot easier when it just pops up in your mailbox.

I will go back deep in the vault and share this one with you.

"What the mind of man can conceive and believe, he can achieve."

If you ask who said that, you get answers like Napoleon Hill, W. Clement Stone, Norman Vincent Peale, Dale Carnegie, the high school basketball coach etc. In fact all of these men have uttered these words but they were all quoting Marcus Aurelius who first said them in 4 BC (I think the proper politically correct term is 4 BCE but I don't really care) There is very little new under the sun.

What is, is. What will be will be. What was was but will be again. ARnold Horshak

Make Today a Great Day.
