A Bad Day at the Beach

Sunday, March 25, 2012

It rained like it had never rained before during our trip to the coast yesterday but it did prove one thing. A bad day at the beach is indeed better than a good day at the office emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Glad you had a good time!
Here, there's still a good 2-3' of snow on the beach and a foot of ice on the water, so even though it was a warm sunny day, going to the beach wasn't at the top of the list of things to do for fun : )

The Most Productive Day

Friday, March 23, 2012

Today was the day that Zig Ziglar says is the most productive work day of the entire year. That's right, the day before vacation when you prioritize what absolutely has to be done befoe you leave and you finish it. If we worked every day like vacation started tomorrow, think how much would get done!

Do What You Fear!

Thursday, March 22, 2012

Don't fear failure so much that you refuse to try new things. The saddest summary of a life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and should have.
~ Louis E. Boone

Of all the words of voice or pen, the saddest are "It might have been"

Success Sleeps in Failures!

Wednesday, March 21, 2012

I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed.
I've failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.
~Michael Jordan

I have not failed to invest the electric light. I have successfully discovered one thousand things that will not work.

Thank you for sharing these! Yes, there are so many times in life when it is so tempting not to even start something new for fear of failing. But failure is indeed a learning process!
