Live Your Life.

Sunday, November 14, 2010

Stop living life for what's around the corner and start enjoying the walk down the street.

- Grant L. Miller, motivational guru

This is a hard weekend for my family. My daughter-in-law lost her battle to cancer yesterday evening and she will be truly missed. This quote popped up on my computer this morning and I thought how appropriate because Jean truly enjoyed walking down the street. As she battled her disease, she lived every day to the fullest. She is now at home and happy with the Lord but she will be missed. Vaya con Dios, Jean.

Walk Through Your Obstacles!

Friday, November 12, 2010

Most of our obstacles would melt away if, instead of cowering before them, we should make up our minds to walk boldly through them.

Rest Well!

Wednesday, November 10, 2010

A light supper, a good night's sleep and a fine morning have often made a hero of the same man, who, by indigestion, a restless night and a rainy morning would have proved a coward.
