I got my first day of Curves done for this week. I was thinking of going this afternoon just so I have something to look forward to, cause I was doing Tuesday and Sunday as my days off but so far that is messing up my weigh ins.
I am feeling down, not myself, I think depression is starting to grab hold of my heart. I just don't feel the happiness and excitement I felt just last week and all I want to do is sleep. I have a diabetes checkup this month so I will have a chance to talk with the Doctor about this.

Not sure what to title this blog so just putting the date.

I am tired of sticking/staying to this weight and this week I want to do something to shake it up. My plans are to go to Curves at least 3 times this week, to walk 30+ minutes 2 days (not curves days) and 1 day of fun with grandson (playing outside).
I want to really get off this carb binge, it is awful. I mean I just crave it and I give in all the time. I need more protein, so I am hoping to get to the store sometime today and get some cheese, nuts and such, and some veggies.
Thats it for now emoticon

    I am a carbo-holic too it is not easy but once you are off them it will. be so much better!

  sometimes we have to stop and think about our own well being . this is a good plan . do not beat yourself over being stuck at a weigh or a goal . If at first we do not succeed try try again . good luck . emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Everything works out the way I plan so I'm just gonna say I am adding exercise and want to eat more fruit and veggies.

BUT! I love Curves and will use my monthly access I have paid for. On a good note I bought some shirts and Curves and have been wearing them cause they are a size 3X yes and proud of that cause I was in a size bigger for awhile.
My neighbor brought me a squash (I call pumpkin squash) and I plan on cooking that sometime today so I am off to do some food prep. You all have a blessed weekend Sparkfamily

    I used to go to Curves all the time and really liked it. Unfortunately due to mismanagement, ours closed down and there went what little exercise I was doing. Keep up the good work!

    I love both squash and pumpkin but find them very hard to cut. So I can only roast them when my dh is here to cut them.

My own thing

Ok, so I didn't come close to winning in the Shed the Frybread challenge, so I gonna be doing my own thing, and that is to exercise 5-6 days a week. Eat more protein, and fruit. I will take supplements as needed or directed by my doctor and restart the (regular)insulin.
My blood sugars have been running really high and the effects are becoming more frequent. The regular insulin caused me to gain weight but I need it now and if it's the only thing that will help to get my sugars down then I'll do it.
So here is my plan for exercise
Monday - Curves
Tuesday - Walk 40+ minutes/Hula class
Wednesday - Curves
Thursday - Walk 40+ minutes/Hula class
Friday - Curves
Saturday - Curves

Possibly Circuit training with the coed group on Monday/Wednesday, we will see. Have blessed week Sparkfamily

    Keep on working on it Joanne. If you need the insulin take it and keep exercising and work on the diet end to and you can work your way back off it. You can do it.

So far this week I've done 3 days in a row of exercise which is a wonderous thing for me, and since I don't have anything planned tomorrow I'm gonna make it 4 days.
I wish I could run. So I can just get up and go . . .

    you may not be able to run but if you can walk that's a start. I find that when I want to get up and go run, I go for a walk.. it's not the same I know but it does get me one step closer to running!
