I've been without my Internet Service Provider since Tuesday and I am so lost without it. I just need to pay $84 to get service back, but right now that is almost impossible. I am lucky that my sister has hers so that is how I am able to update, now that, that is done I need to get home.

    Hey sweetie - grab a notebook and write down your food and any thoughts you have any struggles. When you get online, you can post some of the stuff you wrote. I find it a huge thing to keep track of my food - don't stop tracking!!

My reasons why...

I started reading "THE SPARK" and the one thing that caught me right away was "why do I want to lose weight?' I've always had general reasons but nothing specific and now I can say for sure why.

1. I want my clothes to fit, I want wear a size 16.
2. I want Hot sex, and I'm being truthful
3. I want my diabetes to be in control. This goes along with these fears
a. I don't want to go blind
b. I don't want my limbs to be amputated.
c. I don't want to have a heart attack

The first chapter was called Focus and through that is how I came upon these specific reasons. Now I just need to break these down in to goals and plan .

    Well, I have been like you were, good reasons but not so specific. I am going to rethink these and be more specific. I like yours a lot, especially the hot sex, but would probably never have thought of it. Does your husband know? He might make that wish come true right now if you tell him!

    Good for you! When I started to lose weight I wanted to :
1. Reach into my closet and pull out clothes that fit & I liked,
2. Play with my grandkids on the beach,
3. Drum roll - wear high heels.

I have lost 160 with these reasons. I still have about 70lbs to lose. I am working on new reasons, but I am committed to getting it off this year.

This question helped me "What is the cost of not getting it done?" I am not fully living the life I want and I could. Let me know if I can help.

I had stopped taking one of my medications for diabetes (Actos) with the approval of my doctor. This only when I ran of the current refill (october) and I think this why I have lost weight. I also think that is why I gained and had a lot of plateaus, but anyway my blood sugars have been running high so I started taking them again (to finish the bottle I had). Just one day after my bs were way down, which is a good thing but boy did it make me hungry, not during the day but at around 2AM. I didn't eat anything and was ok when I got up, so now I am not sure what to do.
Next month is my labs/diabetes checkup, oh what to do?

    I have been off my meds for diabetes for awhile, and my fbs levels are fine. This is NOT something you should try to manipulate on your own. Call the Dr. office and tell the nurse what is going on. Perhaps the Dr. can either see you sooner or recommend something to get you through until you can see him/her.

I finally did it, I am now 10 lbs lighter. It was a challenge but it was well worth it and it gives me inspiration to do more. Yes I am ready for change, which includes coloring my hair getting my eyebrows & upper lip waxed, register for school, and continuing the 15+ minutes of daily exercise.

Since quitting work I have kinda let those beauty treatments go, but now that I going to go to school I want to look/feel pretty. Ok got to get some beauty rest, Goodnight :)
