I have things all planned for this week and even written in my planner/datebook. This also my diet journal (for diabetes) from Day-Timers, now I just need to follow through with it.

Ok, I'm going to be right there with you. I'm starting today! I just read this from Jon Gordon's Positive Tip Newsletter: "To seize the moment, don't let your failure define you; let it fuel you....."

My prayers are with you:)

Just remember not to get too far ahead of yourself. The most important day is today!

It does help to write down everything. I started blogging two weeks ago on SP and it has helped me to see both the good and the bad that I am doing. It also keeps you accountable. No matter how bad you may have done, just remember to keep tracking, writing, and shake it off and get right back on track. We can do this together!

Some how, todays plans did not happen but I am trying to make the most of whats left of this day. I know I need to get caught up with my bible study, also I did the cooking(all) tonight which is a first in a long, long, long, looonng time! It was ok but I need a refresher, or least a good cookbook. I added salt to self-rising flour and it made my biscut bread too salty, and yes I was bad and ate two pieces. I guess I can throw the rest out to my dogs, since my family had their fill. I also know that tomorrow I will be very swollen so for now I am chugging the water. Live and learn, ok will do. You all have a great weekend and keep sparking

I just heard about Michael Jackson, and I just want to cry, Why? Maybe because he was a great singer, and he was my beloved son RILEY's favorite singer. Dang, it hurts!!!

GOD please give his family peace and strength to get through these times, Amen

When an icon of society passes it is so hard but we had 3 in 24 hours-- so hard to grasp.

Wow, I'm glad I checked out your blog cause I had no idea he passed. Man in the Mirror is a favorite motivational song of mine; always gets me thinking about making positive changes. He was a great musical artist and performer and I hope he's at peace. His music will live on!

It is so sad and I couldnt believe it. I grew up having his posters on my bedroom wall. I am praying for his family, and may he find peace in his final resting place.

I am just hoping he has the peace and happiness he didn't seem to have in this life. This is really sad because the peace he did have was being a father and has now left three young children behind.

Sidetracked..........not all bad

Sunday, June 21, 2009

I did only three days of exercise this week and that was Mon,Tue, and Wed. For the last three days I've been cleaning, re-organizing, and re-arranging my entire house and I'm still working on it. I for sure am not snacking aimlessly and my food is planned so things are not so bad. It feels so good to know where things are when I need it, and to have my family satisfied and happy, but just have to get back to the cooking. Well sparkfriends you all have a blessed week. emoticon

Three days of planned exercise is good, and don't think you aren't burning calories while working on your house. Do you have stairs, because I have a basement and an attic, and I know that while I am sorting cleaning reorganizing I get in alot of steps. Hope you are feeling well this week.

Housework is exercise! AND as long as youkeep busy you are less likely to overeat! Wtg

That housework sounds like a lot of exercise. It counts as long as it isn't something you do everyday as a matter of course. All the re-arranging couldn't be something you do all the time!

there's more than 1 way to skin a cat! heavy housework like reorganizing counts as exercise, just a different kind! there's even ways to log it into your fitness tracker here on SP! It's under cardio, home activities, heavy cleaning/moving boxes etc... or log some minutes into the quicktracker if you use that instead.... woohoo! ;)
