Finally

Saturday, February 07, 2009

I finally got my exercise bike and I even put it together myself. When I finally got on it I just wore myself out. I could only do 15 minutes but at least it's a start. I plan on riding again this evening and tomorrow too.
I know I am so out of shape, and I have missed too many days of Curves, but I will get back to both. I'll be back later for updates. Have a blessed weeked sparkfriends emoticon

I'm happy you received your exercise bike. Keep building and going at it before you know your time will increase. I'm working on that with the elliptical. Enjoy!

Curves my release

Wednesday, January 07, 2009

I started back to curves and it so so relieving to my stressful days. I only wish it were open during earlier or later hours so I could go daily, oh well someday. I am hoping for speedier/bigger weight losses because of the exercies cause the healthier eating is working but not to my expectations.
Ok got to go get some beauty rest.

It is so hard to fit in exercise but we must. Now with my new diagnosis of diabetes I know this even though I am fighting it!

I haven't tried Curves, I walked in and everyone had this smile on their faces like Stepford Wives. Having been one of those in the '80's I kind of ran back out the door.

But maybe I'll try them again at a different location. The one next to my work closed down.

Instant friends

Saturday, December 20, 2008

Late last night as we were coming home we saw a fire and being curious/nosy we went to see. We ended up being the only ones who seemed to care, as this elderly couple watched in terror as their house burned. We didnt know them but we know the feeling, as our house had burned last February. It was sad that not any of the neighbors came out to offer them help. So my daughter and her generous heart paid for a hotel room for the night and my sister gave them her jacket. We even took in their3 dogs for the night. It is so sad, especially to see that nothing could be saved, Please pray for this elderly couple named 'Hills'. I do thank GOD that they were able to escape with only minimal injuries.

How awful!! I can't believe their own neighbors wouldn't come out to offer any help. Bless your hearts for stopping and your daughter for paying for a hotel room. Thank goodness for people like you and your family.

I am sure that the Hills were grateful that curious/nosy. Bless you and your family for being willing to help them out. It must be horrible to lose your home especially this time of the year.

I had a loss this week but I'm not sure how. I know I havent exercised at all except for the walking I do for work. I am thankful for it though emoticon
I am off of work for 3 days and I am hoping to get in at least 2 days at curves, so I am off to bed so I can have an early start tomorrow. Have a blessed week Sparkfriends.

emoticon on your loss. I've found that sometimes just a change in routine is enough to confuse your body into giving up a little weight.
