We ran into some financial trouble and I was so worried and I keep saying to myself "I have faith, GOD will get us thru" and sure enough our problem was not as serious as I thought..Thank you Heavenly Father for answered prayer.

So far my weight has stayed the same for 3 weeks, and I am ready for change. My plans, to take lunch to work daily, continue the water, drink more milk, and earn 6 WW activitypoints. So here I go --->

    Joe_Anne I too slip on the milk becasue it makes me gassy! I knwo I lose while drinking it though so I guess I Will bite the bulllet and just do it!

I finally looked at my legs and they are humongous emoticon that it makes me sick. So I went out and just did it and went for a walk. I felt good when I got back and it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. I think any type of exercise will help me at this time. But just so it's noted I am looking into having weight loss surgery, not for awhile yet.
Lately I've been under a lot of stress from work and am trying to get through these Holidays which are so hard (missing my baby). Please keep me in prayer.

    Joanne MY legs swell terribly(there is a pic in my photos) and I knwo if I move it is good for therm.. I need to get off my butt as well and move more as well as stay away from salt, drink a lot of water and wear my compression garments. We can do it!

    Hey Joanne, hang in there, I know I have these moments too! I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the amount of weight that I still need to lose, but through lots of prayer, I keep moving forward one step at a time... one meal at a time... one day at a time. I can't undo the last ten years of eating and living unhealthy, but I can make the decision that this meal won't add to the problem, and that I will get up an exercise... even when it's not fun!

So, with that being said, I just want to encourage you that you can do this. You can do it one meal at a time, and one step at a time walking. You can overcome this challenge and the emotions involved with being frustrated over your weight and appearance. I am proud of you for getting out and walking! I am proud that you were able to make yourself do that! Keep up the good work! emoticon

I did my diabetes labs last week and did a follow up with the doctor this week. MyA1c is higher at 7.5 and yet just back in July it was 7.4. Although it's not a big change it does matter to me. So now for sure I need to get moving with the exercies, or at least strength training so I can get my A1c below 7.0 which my doctor recommends.
Oh yes I did talk to my doctor about my weight issue and she said she does do referrals for bariactric surgery. Either the lapband or the other surgical procedures. I told her I would think about this but to go ahead and do the referral so I can get more information.

So far I've been keeping up with my First Place 4 Health group and enjoying the fellowship with my group. But I do have one problem and that is my food journal which I just can't be consistant in writing in.

    Now that I write EVERY bite that goes into my mouth it has really helped me with my weight loss. I have a planner for the year and I bring it with me anywhere I'll be eating. That way I can be sure to write everything down.

Keep at it and before you know it it'll be 2nd nature.

    If you write down everything that goes in your mouth you are more likely to stick with it! It is so important to see on paper what you are eating, it shows you when you do better .. Keep on writing!

    Yes the food journal is the best asset to dieting but I too have a hard time being consistant. Keep at it though you can do it. YOU can do better on that AIC too! I am type 2 not on meds ...still struggle to lose but AIC 5.3. Not saying to discourage. I know it is TOUGH.

Wow, I did it! I actually did a 30 minute walk this morning. I am going out of town this afternoon but will be back tomorrow, and I am hoping we get back early so I can get in another walk.

Ok, so I messed up last week with the exercise but it's a new week and I am ready to "just do it" this time. But there is more I need to confess. I gambled too much money and haven't told my family yet. Why, why do I do this? I didn't leave us broke but we can't buy things we want. My husband took my debt card last time but I think I should surrender it again. So that is my next goal, to not gamble for the next 2 1/2 months. Now I feel relieved to say it here, now back to business of weight loss.

    Every day at a time. Just know that you can do this. We have faith in you, you just have to believe it yourself. Not always easy, I know, but YOU CAN!!!

Keep looking for the help and you will surely find it. The day you stop looking is the day you will be in trouble.

    I am sorry about your gambling debt, if it continues to be a problem,go get help for it as it is an addiction just like our food addictions.   It will be OK, it is best to fess up to your hubby on the gambeling, so you can deal with it head on!! I fell off the diet wagon too, so I know how it is. You CAN DO IT!!

Hey girl, we all mess up sometime. Just get back on track and do a little exercise of some kind every day, even if its only 10 minutes of walking. Gambling, ummmm, I have a tendency to gamble to much too. I end up stopping when the money runs out and have to wait until next payday. Good luck on your personal challenges. One pound at a time, one step at a time, whatever it takes.
