Survived the weekend

My weight usually is up a bit on mondays but today it was still down , same that I weighed Friday but wanted to wait till Monday to change my ticker just in case lol ! I'm 3.4 pounds away from the 140s... I have to do this!! Wish me luck for keeping on track!! Hope everyone had a great weekend and continues with a fabulous week!

Wednesday and up a pound...

I feel lighter . So got on the the good old scale to confirm my light feeling and bam up a pound!! Weird right?! Just started being serious on Jan.16th so not a long time yet . Not down on myself at all , I don't care what the scale says today cause I feel great and it probably is a pound of mussel!! In a few weeks though if it's still going up ha don't think I will be quite so positive lol!! Wednesdays are my favorite, have cardio kickboxing at noon and zumba tonight ! Still working on the 30 day shred as well and loving it! New food I tried .. beets in a can , yum! Hope all fellow sparklers are having a great Wednesday as well and don't let that scale get you down!

    ur doing great things for ur body!! soo proud of u. that scale can be a bum rap when other good things are happening to ur body. try on a smaller pair of jeans or measure to gauge ur progress. keep on!!

ps..i love canned beets..thats the only way i eat beets...lol emoticon emoticon emoticon

Day 4 and new foods

So on day 4 of the 30 day shred . Had so much energy after doing the 20 min. level 1 I did 20 min. level 2 as well !!! WOO HOO! I feel great . Went to my first zumba class last night ... I loved it!! I recommend anyone and everyone to try it , so fun!! So figs not my cup of tea either they can go in the trash with the plain yogurt lol Also tried an avocado with some garlic, lemon and a tablespoon of salsa and put it on my steamed atlantic salmon and wow was that was delicious! All though I tried the avocado plain and yep kinda gross but mixed awesome. Anyone that has a favorite, kind of unique food feel free to let me know . I will try anything once lol. Tomorrow star fruit.... Hope all sparklers are having a fantastic Thursday

    I LOVE ZUmba too! I have both Zumbas for the wii and also attended a class in the beginning of january. I bought a fitness pass so i can go to almost any class anytime as a drop in which i plan on doing next month since january is so packed with lots of fitness already! I like avocado in sushi and also when i eat it "plain" I put garlic powder on it and a little sea salt and that amps up the flavour. I also make my own guacamole from time to time. Keep up the good work with your workouts and trying new foods! One day i shall adventure into trying more new foods too.

I have been trying new foods lately to spice things up and today's was plain yogurt. Yuk!! Not sure if it's the brand or it all tastes like that but pretty sure I won't try that again!! Tomorrow...Figs!
Also day 2 of 30 day shred , feeling good!!

    great to see you back! I don't care for plain yogurt either but i find if you have time to add your own berries, honey and/or cinnamon or vanilla it helps! I also put half a cup of all bran in mine to give it some crunch and you get a good dose of fibre! Have a great day!

Feeling Positive

Monday, January 16, 2012

First day back on track and I'm feeling pretty positive. Even though I have been at the "start" before I'm not going to get down on myself, just move forward!! I love the 30 day shred so starting day 1 again for my exercise and so far eating well , so all in all Monday has been a success!! Woo Hoo ! Hope all my fellow sparklers had an AWESOME Monday as well!
