Getting Started, Again

As I look in the mirror, I'm a bit disgusted. I see most of my friends I went to high school with have 'filled out' their bodies the same as I have. Sure, I can say, "It's a normal thing. We got older, we got bigger." NO! I'm not continuing down that road.
Being busy, I've gained a few more pounds on my over weight body. How in the world did I drop an inch on hips, tummy and hips? I'm doing something right, but I'm doing something wrong. Time to analyze this situation.
I am trying to keep the food that I eat on 'the healthy side'. Taking care of this and that is not getting any exercise time in for me. I realize I'm so busy, time to relax or sleep isn't there either.
Getting some free time tonight, I popped a Madonna CD in the player. I exercised for 30 minutes. I was burning up. I knew I had to cool down. I took my dog for a walk. This seems to be the way to get into shape again.
I think this is going to work for me. What is working for you? Please share with us.

Need To Figure It Out

My health is terrible. I have gained weight, I am ill, but I have come to my senses. I'm going to see a different doctor and I'm changing my diet. I've been VERY busy even though I'm having trouble walking.
And all I can add to this is: I'm going to make it! Change is needed in my daily life, obviously. Extra weight has really messed up my health. I'm sure that I don't stand alone. So..... let's see what changes can fix and/or make things better.

    I've been looking up information for hours and taking notes. Then I saw the comment. I went to CSUE0514 blogs and they said the same things all of my notes contained. Her blogs are full of knowledge, motivation and inspiration. I must say, "Thanks."

Diet - Breakfast

After asking myself, "Where do I start to make my diet change?", more questions popped into my head.
"Will I consider the portion sizes in my meals and snacks?"
"Affirmative."
"Will I consider the nutritional value of the foods that I choose to consume?"
"I will. I remember how good I felt before I gained all this weight."
Drinking enough water is an issue with me. I have decided to drink a cup of water before breakfast. I like to skip breakfast, but..... eating breakfast is part of my 'diet change'.
Quick and Healthy Breakfast Idea's , was interesting. I'm going to try an egg omelet with frozen vegetables. I'm also going to give toast with peanut butter and raisins a try.
Oatmeal with fresh fruit will be another breakfast, so will a poached egg on toast. If anyone has any breakfast idea's, please reply and give me idea's.
A new year has begun. "Happy New Year, ya all. Let's make this a good one. We can do it. Let's Rock!" emoticon

My weight loss solution was lost. I did remember, "Eat smaller meals, six times per day". I felt much better when I was doing that. I even felt great about going for s walk and aerobic dance every day.
I tried the 'eating six times per day' again. It wasn't working. I couldn't keep the meals small. I was still hungry. I had a mind block of some sort. I could not remember what I should of been eating.
Searching for the answer. I found one at healthy-weight-loss-made-easy.com
Strength training and aerobic dance, along with my eating plan will hopefully be the solution for my weight and health problems.
