i weigh myself daily in hopes of seeing a lower score on the scale. and this morning a new number appeared that i haven't seem in a while, that made me smile. i bought some new workout equipment to keep me motivated, i think i am going to start lifting weights too, they arrive September 2, i am waiting impatiently :P
i also purchased skechers shape ups this week, i hope they fufill all their promises.

Moving forward

Although I still have some night time cravings, I feel I am doing well on my diet. I exercise nearly everyday and I haven't gained any weight. I haven't been losing as much as I'd like to, but on the positive side, slower weight loss is probably healthier. I think I am down 4 pounds, my scale isn't the greatest, so sometimes it's hard to tell but I definitely feel better!

Television is cancerous

Does the television know I am on a diet? AND deliberately trying to sabotage me? Desserts and fast food commercials playing every 5 minutes!
I read today that 1/3 of non-smoker cancer is caused by obesity. So shouldn't fast food ads be banned along with cigarette commercials?

After finishing 10 minutes of cardio, I was reluctant to stick to the jog I planned. I couldn't just give up, so I walked for an hour instead ( I hope that makes up for it). Exercising is hard work when you aren't used to moving that much, I pray it gets easier!

I just signed up with spark people, already I'm feeling good about that decision. I've always wanted to join a group like weight watchers, but didn't have the money to spend. Now I'm hoping to get the motivation I need to stay on track to my healthy weight goal.
