Smokin Summer Body Goals

Thursday, June 20, 2013

My goals for this challenge are:

- To be alright with wearing a bathing suit
- get under 200 lbs
- to eat healthier

These are goals that I think that I can do. I try not to make my goals too crazy. I just need to lose two pounds to make it under 200 but it's proving to be very difficult.

I have been very motivated by this challenge. I haven't met all of my goals but I am working on them. I wouldn't change anything I've done this challenge because I feel so much better than I did before this challenge. I plan to keep exercising and keep working on eating better in the future. I feel better about myself and in my own skin than I have in years. In the future, I plan to keep working on losing weight but not be discouraged when the scale doesn't change. I know that this process will be slow but I now know that I can do it.

challenge- half over

Friday, April 19, 2013

Have I been keeping my goals?

I am definitely trying to eat better. I am much more motivated to workout and am starting to enjoy it. I feel much better about myself than I did starting this challenge. Some days I slack a little but having three kids definitely keeps me going. I still hate getting on the scale but I don't let the number effect me. I won't lie, I do get really excited when the number goes down though.

Im a picky eater know what a good way to make you even more pickier, but to also steer you towards healthier food...learn where the food you are eating comes from and how it is made. This kind of knowledge may make you rethink what foods you want to eat and what you dont!!!

My first challenge

Thursday, March 28, 2013

I have decided to do my first challenge. I am in week two of my eight week challenge. I'm hoping that it will motivate me more and keep me motivated. During the eight weeks I will do my best to fulfill every challenge that I'm given. I'm not even worried about losing weight. This time I'm focusing on how I feel.

My goals:
- feel better about myself
-don't focus solely on losing weight
- keep my motivation

So far I feel that I'm doing much better at these goals than I normally do.

Thats the right attitude! One thing I learnt so far is at the start it was about getting a healthy weight, now its more about challenging my lifestyle choices (not just food and exercise) and asking myself is this the right choice for me....its a challenge in itself to question your old lifestyle.....but focusing on your goals gives you clear actions you can take, and before yo know it youll have some healthy habits you never thought youd ever have!

Glad to hear your positive attitude! It makes a difference when you set goals - for me, it helps to write them down. You have some great goals there - here's hoping you all the success!

I find challenges help me to stay motivated too. It seems easier to be working toward something. Best of luck to you reaching all your goals and with your challenges!
