I have to admit I'm proud of myself. I joined SP on Dec 28th and changed my life forever.

I've been walking atlesat 3 miles a day, doing videos online every now and them, working out on the wii fit plus, working on the elliptical in my garage, basically working extremely hard.

I weighed in this morning (every saturday morning) and I've worked 20.4 lbs off my body since joining SP!! I am extremely pleased about this as you can imagine. I have more energy, more drive, my head is more clear, and I feel much better then I have in a really long time.

Thanks to all my SP buddies who have encouraged me the last 32 days on my journey, that suupport has ment the world to me!!!

Im' feeling guilty for taking the morning 'off'. I didnt' work out this morning at home, now I regret it. I have walked once at work today though so that's not horrible I guess.

I'll hit it hard when I get home tonight.

    Having an easy day is part of keeping your body guessing. Plus your body needs time to repair itself.

You should only feel guilty if you take a bunch off but a day won't stop you.

    Give your body a rest once in a while. If you don't it leads to burnout or injury. Rest is as important as any other component.

Changing things up a little........

Ok so last night I got on the elliptical for a 30 whole minutes. It was a nice slow calorie burning pace. It felt so good, I decided to do that again this morning rather then walk.

I think I'll start doing the ellpitical in the morning, walking at work with my friends there, and 'other fitness' in the evening

    Changing the routine is essential to getting the weight off. Shuffling stuff around keeps the body guessing.

    I have to exercise in the evenings. What I do is strength training 7 days a week for 10 minutes. I target a different area each day. Then I do 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. I change it up by sometimes doing the treadmill, aerobics, or zumba.

I found changing it up makes it more interesting for me and I'm less likely to look for excuses to skip.

  It is a good idea to change your work out every now and then because your body gets use to the same exercises. It may feel like you are coming to a brick wall when you do the same work out over and over again and no progress. change is great~~ emoticon

has been a good day!!

On my 2.25 mile walk this morning, I think i was able to shlog(sorta jog) about half of it, not bad!!

Monday 1.25.10

Had a GREAT weekend. I got up early Saturday and Sunday morning and walked 3.28 miles each day.

We also had my youngest daughter'd 6th birthday part, a gymnastics party! Guess What.....the parents also go to play!!! WOO HOO. I jumped on the trampoline, yes I can still do a backflip! I also played around with a mini trampoline jumping over some mats, it was so much fun! Not to mention the great calorie burn I got out of it!!

Sunday the wife and I cleaned out the garage together, which was nice to spend that time together and make some room out there. You will never believe what I found out there, an elliptical machine!! I knew it was there, just buried. I now have access to that bad boy so I plan to use that in my calorie burning mission as well.

Off to a good start to the week and I'm hopin and a prayin I can lose another 3 lbs this week, that will put me at 20LBS total loss since I official started Dec 28th.
