this has been a tough weekend for my calorie intake and exercise.
I played 36 holes of Golf on Friday which burned a great deal of calories for me, I really enjoyed that part. The hambuger, potatoe salad and bean for lunch weren't the best I'm sure. THEN for dinner I had bbq, come on, I'm IN Texas and we WERE in Glen Rose, TX, I had to have some Hammonds BBQ! I did eat the child's plate with sausage and ham, only had a few fries so it wasn't horrible I guess. I didnt get any other exercise on Friday becasue of the Men's retreat with them men from Church. Well worth it though, I got fed spiritually and that's fine.
I did get up and run 2.5 miles in about 25 minutes on Saturday morning, that felt great. I could have kept going, I just ran out of time. Breakfast wasn't bad calorie wise, lunch again was a hamburger though. UGH.
I have slowed down a great deal now though so it's all good. My first race is next sunday so I don't plan to to 2 aday workouts everynight this week so that I'm well rested next sunday for the warrior dash. I will hit it hard again after the race and shed another 10-15 lbs for my frame and leave it at that.
I think that's enough for now...
