can you say CARDIO.....oh man my lungs were burning!!!

i like that feeling though. I burned 785 calories according to my sportsline S7 watch I bought last weekend, in 40 minutes. nor bad!!

Let the Insanity begin

well...DAY 1!!

We did the fit test this morning and proved I'm a whimp!! LOL

This is going to be good though, I can't wait for tomorrow morning's workout. I've been doing this sort of workout for about a month with our personal trainers so we are very familar with the moves etc. BIG difference will be doing it every day now, I think I'm gonna love it!

Changing it up again......

well.....I think my body is getting used to the elliptical machine, makes me very sad. I think it's time to change it up again.

I will be starting INSTANITY on Monday morning!!! I think this program is going to kick my butt, but I'm looking forward to it. Honestly I can't wait to get started. I will be working in my garage this weekend to make MORE room (already 2 ellipticals in there) so my wife and I can go INSANE every morning for 60 days and LIKE IT!!

I've not had that great of a week as far as my weight loss is concern, this is the first week since I started that I'm not down 2-3 lbs by midweek!! Yep, that makes me mad!!! Last time I got mad like that, I dropped 7.4 lbs in one week, I'm hoping for something similar next week, time will tell. I'm so close to my original year end goal I can taste it, needless to say I'm going to keep pushing very hard to get there!!!

    I realize that it might be difficult scheduling wise, but you might want to consider moving your workout time a couple days a week. Draw it out of a hat and move those two to the evening.

Just a thought.

    changing things up is something you have to do periodically, sometimes the scales are slow to catch up with your effort, but it obvious that they do catch up for you when you do the work, and your a worker

I blew it this weekend!!!

I ate too dawg gone much Mexican food! I was in El Paso, how could I pass it up, i couldn't that's the problem !!!

I drank too many margaritas too....

dissappointed in myself, but I can't change it now, I just dust myself off and get back on the elliptical!!

    Yea, I can't imagine how much I would eat on a trip to El Paso. We can't deny ourselves all of the time and we have to test ourselves sometimes.

When we were learning to ride a bike, we would get more and more daring until we hurt ourselves. We would be careful again, but we would continue to get more daring. Each time, it takes longer before we get hurt and that is the way this is. We get in a groove until that basket of chips and salsa (or that bowl of ever so evil jelly beans) gets put in front of us and sometimes we are going to get hurt by it and sometimes we aren't.

Kinda rambled here, but I think (hope) I made the point.
