Some people have to keep their calories between 1200 and 1400 and exercise for 1 to 2 hours every day to lose. stick with it.

Try cutting back a little more on carbs and watch the fats. Yes Dr. Atkins said we don't have to count cal. and such But he also said we can't over do them either.Not that you are,but maybe just cutting back a little more will do it. It did for me,i was stuck for MONTHS! I also had to walk more miles, i read our bodies get used to what ever we are doing after 6-8 wks. Every one has given you good advice. It can be frustrating when the scale is so stubborn. Remember too, that there are other reasons to exercise. It strengthens your bones and improves your Heart Function, and it does help with depression. It is not unusual for the scale to be very SLOW to respond. Stop getting on the scale for awhile...just eat right and exercise a bit. Walking is wonderful and I find that if I stop jumping on the scale I don't fret about not loosing the weight. I figure that I am either going to loose lbs or not. I don't need to make myself crazy too. One day at a time is all that we are asked to live. God Bless and keep sparking. After 5-6 months of losing every week, my body has moved back into the rhythm I have had before when I get lose weight - this crazy every-other-week stuff. I think it makes us stronger to have to work 2 or 3 weeks to get the scale to drop down...it IS hard, but we can do it!! Hang in there!!! Report Inappropriate Comment |

At first when I weighted in today I was disappointed that I was only down by one pound but then just as fast I rethought about it and now I am pretty happy with that pound loss because the scale could have stayed the same or went the other way . I am making process
I went too gym three time,s last week yesterday I was there almost one hour walking, biking ,weights . I think that will help the weight loss in the coming weeks and I know it is going too make me healthy .
