I have been a Spark member for just over a year now. If I could only get myself to eat as good on Saturday's as I do the rest of the week I may have already met my goal. I decided this is my year, I am going to reach my goal. I am 31 and want to be healthy and I want to feel like I have bounce in my step. I am too active to not be fit!!
2/25/08 Feeling pretty good and like I am on my way to being healtier. Just need to keep up the motivation to eat well. I am a success in progress. :-)
3/22/08 Well its been 2 months and I have lost 12 lbs. and I feel awesome. Also my BMI was in the healthy range as of a week ago and that makes it all the better. My clothes are getting loose and my hips are now the smallest they have been in 5 years. I cannot wait for my next mini goal, 167 lbs, I am going shopping for new jeans.
4/25/08 Yeah I made it to my 167lb goal and went shopping for new jeans this week. I've have not had that much fun ever when trying on pants. I went through every rack and pulled size 10-12's off and headed to the dressing room. Each pair was able to be pulled up and buttoned/zipped up as well. I cannot wait to do it again.
5/27/08 I am feeling pretty good lately, I think my body is getting used to its size now. It may take me a little while to get used to though, I feel I am happy with my loss so far. I just need to work on toning now. That should not be to hard as it is now becoming warm enough for lots of Mountain Biking :-) I have been using my new weight set about once a week, it gets harder to find the time when Biking and gardening starts up.
9/15/08 I feel like I am starting over, I went on Vacation in July I did not do too bad. But I am having issues getting back to logging my food to make sure I do not eat too much. I have only gained a few pounds since I went on Vacation, but I also have not been as vigilant in my workouts. So I am almost starting over. Lets see what I have done by next month this time, I want to feel 100% again.
My new modo for now is feeling Great in 08. If you think it and believe it, it will become a part of everyday life.
12/22 Wow, it has been a long time since I put in an update. I am maintaining a healthy weight, feeling okay with the exception of being sick every other week with some new viral thing, I hope I have been through the last of that so I can get back in shape. I have not been able to work out as much as I'd like to, but Snow is here now so I am getting in my fair share of shoveling it. Merry Christmas Everyone!!
