new attitude

I have broken through my LONG plateau and have hope to continue to make progress!!! Somehow, my attitude towards food is changing. I don't feel like it is such a strong driving force. I don't want it to have "power" over me. I was able to go a longer stretch yesterday without eating. I was working and wasn't able to have time to eat. In the past I have feel hypoglycemic if I go too long. It's still good to not wait too long so I'm not ravenous. But, still I felt good I was able to do this and feel normal, despite being hungry. Anyhow, I feel good to have lost weight...finally!! I feel more hope to continue to make changes in my weight and attitude. Woo-hoo!

    I'm not sure why I've resisted blogging. It must be because I feel like I have so many things to do. But, this may help me get more "connected" to feelings about the journey here.

I've been on a plateau for a while but am feeling more "in control" of my eating and emotional eating. So, I'm going to try to track food more consistently and blog periodically. emoticon

Okay, I haven't been good about blogging. I will try to do better. I am keeping up with my work outs (when I'm not on vacation). I need to cut back on my food intake and avoid goodies. It's the only way to make more progress. My metabolism isn't what it used to be. Here's to a new day and being 45!

    Well I haven't blogged for so long. It feels like one more thing to do, but realize I probably need it. I have been at a plateau and need to get more motivated. Watch out Christmas goodies! I guess I will exercise more and practice moderation. emoticon

Okay, I haven't made an entry for a while. I'm just trying to keep track of the logging in of food, exercise. I am at a plateau. I have been working out consistently but have had some off eating days. Those were mainly due to going out to eat. So, I am going to purpose to be more careful. Persistence pays off!

It is a slow and steady process and I'm glad I am "into it". I have my better days but that's life! I am trying to be more diligent about recording my food intake. I am going out of town for 4 days on Friday and will have to bring a notepad. Traveling can be a challenge. I am going to bring some fruit and nuts and Southbeach diet bars.

    It is a slow and steady process. Recording food is difficult for me as well... I get bored or overwhelmed with it ... I think, plus the data base doesn't have 'exactly' what I may be eating, so I have to manually enter foods, which I usually mess up doing...so I get frustrated. A notebook is a good tool !!! I think I need to 'plan' my meals the day before, which would help spontaneous choices... which always aren't the best I could do for myself.

Have a fun time on your time away from your home. Returning home to my own bed is always such a good thing!!!
