Asparagus on Asparagus

This is basically asparagus served with a sauce made from asparagus, olive oil, & lemon. I served it with the salmon stuffed asparagus and it paired nicely together.

This was a great Michel Richard recipe. Relatively easy, beautiful looking, and healthy. First a pocket is created in a salmon filet and light steamed asparugs is inserted inside.

Romaine on Romaine or Are Lettuce Ribs Blue Cheese?

This recipe cleverly used rice paper to contain romaine leaves to make a utensil free salad. It is called Romaine on Romaine because the dressing/dipping sauce also contains romaine lettuce. And it uses the lettuce ribs chunked up to create texture. Michel Richard described it like having blue cheese chunks in the dressing but that description was a bit of a stretch for me.
