Reflection and Shred week 4

Good Morning...wow what a beautiful week this is turning out to be. I wish I was organized up enough to get outside and put that pool up. That is one of my goals for tomorrow and Friday since they are saying storms this weekend! So we got the news yesterday that we were approved for USDA funding to get a bigger home! YAY! The kids can finally get their own room!!! So that means I am on a major hunt now for a part time job. I was lax on it because we thought it was going to take longer than it did. It looks like they filled the position I wanted at my school so I am looking everywhere now. I switched the one class that I have this fall in the morning to evening class so that should help with my day hours.

WIN Reflection:
I was down 2.4 lbs this week WOO HOO!!! I didn't fail like I thought I did!!! Week 3 of the Shred was really hard for me. I needed to eat sometimes instead of just soup or smoothies so I did. I wasn't going to make myself feel hungry so I made the best choices I could! I didn't get my FM in like I wanted to so that is one thing I really want to work on this week. I must get back to Curves today! Haven't been since June 3rd :(. I am also very surprised since I ate like a horse on Sunday lol.

Spring 5%:
We have 2 weeks left in the challenge. I have yet to meet a single goal in any of the previous challenges I have done with my Teddy Bears! But this is the time! I am 6.6 lbs away from meeting this seasons goal! I know that's a lot but I think I can do it with a lot of hard work and SHRED!

Wednesday Reflection, Shred Week 3

Good Morning everyone! Orion Music Festival was the BEST! I will post a blog with pics soon!

Reflection:

I am down 0.2 lbs this week. I was very surprised considering TOM, all the beer I consumed this weekend emoticon, and that we ate out for the first time, a few times this weekend, in over a month. But I certainly got my share of walking, dancing, jumping and so on this weekend. I got in way more that I actually tracked.

Shred wk 3

Last week I decided to post-pone my restart of week 3 until today. So here we go again! I am excited to get back on track! I miss my smoothies lol.

Now lots of stuff to get on at home. Evies last day is tomorrow then both the kiddos are on summer break. I really have to get back to Curves! Which will be hard this summer since it is across from the kids school so I would drop them off and go. Now the whole routine is going to be weird.

This weekend, Shred week 3, and SMART Goals

I have decided to restart week 3 next Wednesday. This has been to hectic and with the festival this weekend I didn't want to set myself up for failure. I plan to not eat like a pig though! And I will get plenty of walking in over the weekend! I ate pizza yesterday which was the first time in over a month that we have had fast food. Made my stomach hurt. So I know I have to make sure to get the healthiest options I can find down at the festival since I am unable to bring food items.

I will do my best to post over the weekend for the challenges in BLC and Spring 5%. I should be able to do a quick post tomorrow morning but I doubt I will be able to on Sunday. I am not sure what time on Monday we will be home so I will do what I can then too.

FOR BLC WEEKEND CHALLENGE:
J (Real information about me): I am a wife and sahm mom. My hubby was my fourth grade crush and we have been married for almost 9 years. My daughter Evie is 8 and my son Jay will be 5 on the 5th of July. I am a student and I am constantly on the go. I stopped working in 2009 to focus on my children and school. I didn't want them to go to the district we live in so I drive them about 20 min away everyday. I love to read mysteries, romance, erotica, and non fiction. I love watching movies. Some of my favorite actors are Bradley Cooper, Sandra Bullock, Jen Anniston, Josh Duhmel, Channing Tatum, Nick Cage, Robert Downey Jr...just to name a few. I love action, romantic comedies, horror, just about anything really. We have a collection of Disney, DreamWorks and so on DVD's of over 300. I love Amazon lol. I am a perfectionist so I get down on myself a lot. I am trying to fix that! We love to go on trips, family outings, fishing, bowling, and swimming. Which I still need to get our pool up. I have a strong interest in Bulldogs since we got Bella. They are the best breed! And that's about it!

Wednesday Reflection

Weigh in/Measurements:

*Last week I had to lose 5.8 lbs to meet my goal for today for this weekends Orion Festival. Well needless to say I didn't reach that BUT I did LOSE!!! Only 0.6 of a lb which I thought for sure with TOM in the mix it would be a big gain! That's awesome!!!

*Since Jan 2013 I have been a member of Curves. They weigh and measure me every month. I got measured on May 31. Before she handed me my report she went onto explain since my last measure in in April they have had a training session and discovered all employees were measuring too tight. I always kinda figured that something wasn't right but maybe it was just me and I measured myself wrong since I figures weren't totally the same. Well needless to say I had a total increase in inches of 19.25 which was not what I wanted to hear. But looking back these were more close to mine. However I do know that I am losing around the waist because my wonderful hubby noticed!!! So when I measure in at the end of this month I should see an actual change!!! For the better :)

Shred:

Shred week 3 was a bust for me. As I stated before it was going to be the hardest week. I followed for the first 2 days and then I got hungry so I ate all weekend (good things, stayed in cal range). So I learned from my mistakes this week and have decided to repeat week 3 this week.

Orion Music Festival:

This weekend is mine and my hubby's early anniversary mini vacation to the Orion Music Festival. This is going to be quite the challenge for following Shred. We are not able to bring food into the festival. There are no microwaves in the room where we are staying and getting a refrigerator is requested and based on availability. So taking a small cooler with my fruits and veggies, some canned fruits and veggies, proportioned snacks, my Magic Bullet, and my Shred book and will do my best this weekend!

Family news:

Jay graduates from preschool this morning :( So sad yet so exciting!!! His official last day is Friday and then he will officially be a Kindergartener. Evie's last day is next Thursday and she then is officially a 3rd grader. Bittersweet! Lots of stuff going on from Jay's bday party at then end of the month to a couple graduation parties this month and next. I get tired just looking at my calendar. Going to be a busy beginning to the summer

So happy that the challenge starts today. Excited to be a Violet Venus again! Love this team! Such a great support! Good luck to all the BLCer's!

Spring 13 5%

Proud to announce that I have been consistently losing each week so this maybe my first time that I meet goal with this challenge! GO TEDDIES!

    You're doing good! Ah, glad that you can put the measuring in perspective. Doing well and having to give up the real inches you have lost thru wrong measurement techniques would make me want to grab a brownie.

Shred: End of Wk 2/Start of Wk 3

Week 2 in review:

Weigh in: down 1.8 lbs. Was hoping for a bigger loss this week but that's ok. Its still a loss! I probably would have seen a bigger loss had I exercised over the long weekend and stuck completely to the diet plan. Although I didn't stick to it entirely I didn't pig out, I stayed within my calorie range, so that's a good thing! I was really worried about that. Good thing we stayed around the house! Now to meet my first short term goal I need to loss 5.8lbs this week.

Week 3 begins today. This week is "Transformation" week and is supposed to be the hardest of all 6 weeks. And reading thru the meals for the next 7 days I see it! For the first 3 days of the week all 4 meals each day I have the choice of just smoothies, shakes or soup, with the exception of today's meal 1 and day 3's meal 1 I can have cereal or oatmeal. No meat til day 4. Really the "liquid" meals aren't as bad as I thought. They taste really good and are filling. I think this week I will need to try to make at least one of the soup recipes in the back of the book and I need to get some vanilla whey powder for the other protein shake recipes in the book. I can only make 1 right now with my chocolate whey. I can't wait to get my Magic Bullet blender this week!!! I think that if I stick to the plan 100% this week I can lose this 5.8 lbs to meet goal!

    I bought a copy of this book but never used it. One of my extremely bad habits is buying diet books and not using them. I congratulate you on your determination!!! I have a bullet, you will love it. Now I use a ninja and really love it too!!! Wishing you huge success meeting your goals this week!

    I also saw no fruit at dinner. Can not start until I go shopping this weekend or next week. Best wishes. He is no biggie on bread carbs in the beginning but at the end some are added in the middle phase or last phase.
